Thank you for watching this episode of KT Outdoorz Garden content where we help you save money by sharing our methods for generating local, healthy food resources that continually builds the soil that ultimately feeds you and your family. We have been growing our own food and building a more sustainable life since 2012 here in zone 6b, and are looking forward to using this platform to share some of what we have learned with our viewers.
I 100% believe that everyone should grow potatoes. They are such an easy crop to grow, they store extremely well and have a wide range of uses in the kitchen. Literally every meal from breakfast to dinner can have potatoes as part of it. But planting potatoes can require a lot of digging, so today we take a stab using a bulb planter accessory on a power drill to make it easier to get those spuds in the ground. It was so easy, and the minimal soil disturbance will help the microbiology continue to thrive and support the plants as they grow. I highly recommend this approach and will continue to use it myself.

Well welcome to the channel! It was a super chill way to plant potatoes. Over on Facebook I had a local greenhouse manager say she plants all her plants with an auger and I can totally see why if you were doing a lot all at once! Those two are pretty special but my opinion is obviously very biased! 😉😂
