Gosh, you and your husband have grown so much on your channel.. It has been so refreshing to see how your channel has evolved. I have come across your channel a few weeks ago and have watched and shared most of your videos. I am a fairly new gardener and I owe my "success" to the two of you. Keep up the exceptional work! May you and your hubby be blessed; beyond measure. Thank you for sharing your sanctuary with all of us.. You are far more courageous than I.
Thank you. I’ve learned so much from failing. Gardening in this heat has challenges. Hopefully, sharing my ups & downs… other gardeners won’t feel alone. It’s fun to see how our flowerbeds have evolved. Thank you so much for watching. 😃
This bed will be lovely! I saw you use an auger drill to make your holes. That reminds me... Years ago, my cousin in Fresno, had to blast holes in the hard pan to plant trees in her back garden! My Mom was from Fresno, and I (native San Franciscan) spent many summers wilting in 100-plus heat in Fresno. My Mom and her family moved to San Francisco after she finished high school. I'm an avid gardener and garden designer! I love zinnias! We can't grow them here.
Oh yes! We have hard pan! Last week I dug a few holes and have been watering and adding gypsum daily.😩🤣 My mom and her husband lived in the East Bay for years. I loved going into San Francisco to shop. That was 20 years ago.
I really enjoy your videos. Your garden is so beautiful. Do you deal with high winds? I live in Rosamond ca. and I have high winds from April to almost July it can be such a challenge with having a garden.
Thank you.😃 We don’t normally have a lot of wind. I will say this last winter we had a lot of wind. I was nervous about the redwood trees in our backyard.
