I have planted ice plant and portulaca and to my dismay the birds in PX AZ eat them, is there any thing I can plant with them to deter their demise from the birds? I was thinking Chile peppers but do not know if the heat from the Chile seeds would deter the birds? Please advise. I have had terrible luck with succulents. Everything dies or is eaten by the birds.
I have two award winning sedum brilliant bulbs that I have no idea how far apart to plant them and can you plant them on the south side under box woods and do they spread?
