They don’t in my garden but that doesn’t mean it wont happen for you … just depends on your wildlife presence.

Amanda being in north Texas which is your favorite nursery here...I'm in North Texas and I have a hard time finding just native Texas plants and just different plants all together.

Enjoyed the video! Exactly how long did you grow the lisianthus seedlings? I use the same compost as well and love that it’s fairly inexpensive!

This round I planted in mid July … so four months for them to reach that tiny size!

I just ordered the Van Gogh seeds from Sunflower Steve too! Just one packet. they were pricey so I’m a bit scared of how they will turn out. Can’t wait for you to plant yours too!

You should also call yourself “The Patient Gardener”! That’s a long time to wait on blooms on some of the flowers you plant, like the lisianthus!

You are a hard worker. I’m still planting garlic, but the 3 camellias I planted - October Magic Ruby - are blooming prolifically.

I really want to add camellias but had heard they don’t bloom well in my area. What area are you in?

@@shesamadgardener South Carolina Z8a. My camellias are from the Southern Living Plant Collection and are expected to grow about 3 to 5 ft. The height is important because they won’t need lots of pruning. They like acid soil so I will amend with acid in the spring when I do hydrangeas, roses, and the Little Gem magnolias. It’s important to buy recommended varieties with a desirable history. Camellias like shade as do people who live in hot climates. Texas heat is legendary.
