Spikeweed origin story: A gargantuar stepped on a sunflower. The petals of the sunflower hurt the gargantuar. Dave witnessed this and started to smash sunflowers for his defenses. The flowers eventually started to callous and harden, and we ended up with spikeweeds. One spike weed calloused so much that it actually started to grow stalactites...
