Wow....what a smart arrangement for the bathroom, just a wonderful achievement🎉 ...happy for your sucess

Just a tip, if you need to magnetize tools like screwdrivers, etc. to hold on to screws: Get a very strong magnet, and drag the tip of the tool IN ONE DIRECTION repeatedly (a dozen passes ought to do it). I've used this trick for years, and it really works!

Great work... Just a suggestion that inder window space where the tub goes... Hinge the top so you can put laundry bags or baskets in that cavity.... Just what I would do...

Just a quick idea offer the board up to the surface and give it a gentle tap where the items you want cut out are this will give you the exact spot without all the extra measuring... advice from a retired plasterer.

Drilling a (or a couple) say 10mm hole just intersecting the the cut the hole saw will make (on the waste side) can help remove/evacuate the saw dust from the cut and reduce burning/smoke.

If using any more plasterboard, grab a rasp. They are fantastic for ‘tuning’ the board after the snap/ around existing, nonstandard framing

*Kylie & Guy, Awesome work to get this far in getting your bathroom up & running. 🙂 You will love it when it is finally finished 🙂 I assume it will be 'Mains Pressure' and not 'low pressure' from your hot water cylinder when you get everything installed.? 🙂.* I just had my bathroom completely renovated... took out the bath and installed a 1200 x 800 shower and also installed a 'ShowerDome' which is the best thing ever. Check them out as they are NZ made.

Hi, on the shelf in your bathroom, have a slight angle on the shelf so if water/moisture gets on the shelf it drips off, instead of pooling at the back. Love what you two are doing.

On the wall between the two bath windows, if looks like you used a wire mesh over the rocks? I don't remember seeing you do this anywhere else.

You’ve gone so far here! Can’t wait to see the taps installed. I’m surprised you haven’t installed the ceiling green board first as the moisture rising from the shower or tub will not be good collecting on the wood. Yes venting helps but in the cold days the surfaces will dew up.

Very tedious work but worth it. It's looking more like a bathroom can't wait until the tiles go in and the floor is dry to finish. It all looks so good with all the work you both have put into it.

A m I the only one who’s mildly disappointed that we’re not seeing part 2 of the 10 part epic series “Free standing bathroom tap” Future series could have included, free standing kitchen tap, free steaming fridge freezer, free standing garden planters and so on, leading to the final free standing house.
