incase anyone doesnt know. Tatsuro Yamashita is the husband of Mariya Takeuchi, this is him singing her song that she wrote. edit: Tatsuro wrote it it, Mariya sang it. Still super cute! edit 2: since every1 gotta be a know it all: Mariya wrote the song. Tatsuro produced it. edit 3: who cares, just enjoy the song.
ENGLISH LYRICS With a sudden kiss and a passionate gaze Do not cause a malfunction to the love program Type in encounters and separations well When the time comes, it ends Don't hurry! Since the day I was heartbroken I've been having a life That's been reversed between day and night While dancing the nights away at the popular disco There is a magic I've learned I'm sorry! Never love me seriously Love is just a game All I need is to have fun with it The showy dresses and shoes decorating my closed heart Are my lonely friends The men who flirt with me are Ironically always similar to him for some reason My memories with him are overlapped Don't ask me why even if I drop my glass and suddenly glisten with tears When I fall asleep by the highway at dawn Only halogen lights are mysteriously shining Although somebody is whispering that I'm an icy cold woman Don't worry I'm just playing games I know that's plastic love Dance to the plastic beat Another morning comes I'm just playing games I know that's plastic love Dance to the plastic beat Another morning comes I'm just playing games I know that's plastic love Dance to the plastic beat Another morning comes ROMANIZATION OF JAPANESE LYRICS Totsuzen no kisu ya atsui manazashi de Koi no puroguramu wo kuruwasenaide ne Deai to wakare jouzu ni uchikonde Jikan ga kureba owaru don't hurry! Se me hace muy bonito que Tatsuro haya hecho un cover de la canción más reconocida de su esposa, un grande Tatsuro reconociendo el gran talento de su esposa Te quiero mucho J-Pop de los 80-90's
i actually like this better than mariya's, don't get me wrong, but mariya's was good! it just got a bit repetitive after a few listens imo and hearing tatsuro's got my jaw dropping?? it sounds a little higher than mariya's and he's having fun with it omg
Same It has that etherial feeling only tatsuro’s songs have Although mariya’s version has its own feel to it as well, its like they’re two completely different songs
the key is actually lower. the original '82 recording with mariya is in d minor while tatsuro's '83 cover and the '00 edition by the couple are both in d flat minor
There's a live version of this song from the early 00s where Mariya is singing with her more matured voice and Tatsuro is also there doing the same ending and my favorite RU-vid comment ever was from that video talking about how Tatsuro was shattering planets in the background lmaoo.

unwarranted 5am comment incoming, ignore if you so please overall I think you did a pretty good job transcribing, but I thought I'd offer some corrections and comments on what you might have heard differently (i'm basing off the uncompressed CD rip) also in general I'm not going to comment on the Ls and Rs, because those latin-ic sounds don't really exist in japanese (corrections and comments in parentheses) Totsuze-un no-kissu ya Atsu()i mana-(z)ashi (d)e (I understand why you wrote it this way, the way tatsuro allides the "tsu" to the "i" has a very audible "h" before, but to outright pronounce the h would be wrong. phonetically for the other two it's a matter of hearing voiced vs unvoiced foreign consonants in a busy mix) Koí no pulogulamu-o Kuluasena ite ne Deai-to wa(k)a-le Tchoo-zzu ni uchiko-unn de (I find it interesting that you phoneticized it this way, it's not that incorrect from "jou-zu") Dji(k)a-un na kuleba (voiced vs unvoiced) Ouwalu - Don’t hurry! - Aii-ni kitzutsui-ta Anohi-kala tzu-u to Hilu-to yolu-ga gyakuu-no (Good job catching "gyaku"/"reverse/opposite" - it's a difficult word to catch for non-Japanese speakers, so kudos if you did this by ear and not basing it off a pre-written guide) Kulashi-o tsuzu-ke te Hayali-no disco de Odoli-a ka(s)u uchi-ni (voiced vs unvoiced) Oboeta-majutsu Ná no yo - I’m sorry! - Watashi (no koto) o keshi-te (important to separate the words where they are actually separated) Ho-unn ki de ai-sa na-ii de Ko-i nante tada-no ge-emu Tanoshimeba sole-de ii no To( z)ashita kokolo-o ka()za-lu (because of the stop tone the z's make when against vowels, I can understand why you think there's a "t" tone in there. It's kind of there, but not really, it's not something most speakers think about. I think the "t" tone could help a non-native speaker strike the "z" more correctly, so maybe there's that) Hade-na dolesuu-mo kutsu-mo Kodoku-na tomodachii Watashi-o sasso()u hito-wa (I can see why you think the "h" is there, but it's a matter of his singing style and alliding. It could have easily been "wu" as well if you perhaps heard it differently) Hiniku-na monone itsu-mo Kaleni-ni teluu-wa nazze-ka Omo-ii de-t()o kassana-li aalu (I understand why you hear the "s" when it's not there. the "t" is particularly [ex]plosive in the recording) Gulassu( wo o)toshi-te ki(y)u-ni (Proper separation between words again. This one is particularly tough because of "wo" against "o-toshi" when the "w" tone in "wo" is barely there (especially if coming from an english understanding). "kyuu-ni" in the recording is tough to listen, in fact it almost sounds like "kigyu-ni" so your choice is understandable) Namidaagu-unn dee-mo wakee-wa T(a)zaazzune-e naíde-nee (Easy to miss. Understanable) Yofuke-no ko-oosso kuu-de Nemuli-ni tsu-ku ko-lo Haloge-unn laíto-dake Ayashiku-ka ()gaya(k)u [kagayaku / "shining"] (simple word separation and maybe you got tired. In general, "tu" doesn't exist as a syllable in japanese, the closest is either "du" or "tsu". Hence why most Japanese speakers have trouble pronouncing the word "today" (k)o-o li-no yo-o ni (in the recording, the "k" is really pronounced with the epiglottis, so I understand why you heard "h" Tsumeta-i (o-unnada)-to (Because of the way the rhythmic phrasing works with the lyrics, "onna"/"woman" seems to be extended to two different words, if not "on-n-na". Try to be more concientious about keeping it as one word and fit the one word in the same breath. There's a difference between "woman" and "woah man" - it's subtle, but it's there.) Sassaya-ku ko-e ga Shite-mo - Don’t worry! -
