Plastic Safe Break In 

Knocked out the pins on the hinges, stuck a crow bar into the slot and knocked it through with a mallet. Everything went smoothly, great tutorial! 3 Thumbs Up!

Mine stopped working. Sentry Safe told me to go to a locksmith. He quoted $200. Tried your technique and it worked perfect. Thank you.

It looks like the Sentry Safe I had to break open this morning because the solenoid stopped working. This does appear that the safe was prepped for the demonstration though as the hinge pins on mine didn't just pop out with no effort.

Or use a magnet to disengage the electronic solenoid, upper left of door..

how did you remove the hinge pins?

it's a fire safe, not a real money safe against thieves, this one is for fire...

all home safe can get break in to but this one was easy to get break in to.

I've had a harder time opening shoe boxes then this.
