What I see: a lot of electricity used, and probably gas, too, for the melting phase. And a slow process. The matetials: sand[?] and processed plastic are probably cheap. So: what is the price to produce any of those tiles [materials, labor, utilities, amortized[?] cost of machinery], and how much can the tiles be sold for? Are they price-competitive with existing products? And what advantages/disadvantages are associated with these tiles? ESPECIALLY: Are microplastics released as these tiles wear fown from foot traffic, vehicle traffic, and environmental erosion? Personally, a smart government would subsidize this type of business IF "an economy of scale" is feasible AND the other questions [above] can be answered.
