@@marisamorais3150 nope. Genetics play a role in how all people age, generally speaking. I'm certainly not dark skinned. I've had many a sunburn as a ginger, and didn't start using sunscreen until my late 30s. My genetics are why, at nearly 48 years old, I don't have any "crow's feet" or deep crinkling. That's from my maternal genetics. Yes, caring for your skin *absolutely plays a role,* but in actual aging (not sun damage), genetics are part of it.

I have “smokers” lines around my mouth and wrinkles on my forehead at 16 yrs old(not really deep just mildly there)just like my mom but neither of us ever smoked and always have used sunscreen as well as big hats/sunscreen clothing. Chronic migraines have kept me inside for the last 5 years so sun exposure has been very low for me. Genetics really matter. I should mention I am a pale redhead so I never tried to tan and have always covered up and worn sunscreen. It wasn’t something I ever didn’t do.

My dermatologist just gave me 5 steps on my skin care. It's for acne and it worked for me. The steps are: Morning: Wash your face, no scrubbing, just wash (I'm using avene soapless foaming wash) Apply a serum you like(niacinamide in my case, she okay'd this too) Apply Epiduo(for acne maintenance) Apply moisturizer Apply sunscreen In the evening it's the same, minus the sunscreen. Been doing this for 2 years now and my acne has been controlled and now i'm just on maintenance. She says you can skip the serum and moisturizer but never the Epiduo and the sunscreen. Cheers to us who are on their acne free way~! If in doubt, go to a derma and see what fits you!

I'm 20 years and have never had a "proper" skin care regiment in my life. I'd occasionally just apply some face mask using the ingredients like turmeric or coconut oil and that would be it. I get so overwhelmed by the amount of skin care products that I never watch such videos of people discussing their skin care practices. I'm glad dr youn has given such a simple list. A cleanser, sun screen, vitamin C serum, retinol and moisturizer. Affordable! As for fillers I do want them but its insanely expensive in my country. I sometimes think plastic surgery is a great thing but when people go overboard or develop addictions then it gets a bad rep.

@@Sunflowersarepretty it's for fuck's sake. I didn't mean to be disrespectful but you are very young. U don't need fillers either, unless maybe u want bigger lips or somth, otherwise u are way too young to temper with them. I just started at 32, no point in hurrying, they do have side effects.

Korea is very advanced in anti-aging procedures. What Dr Y said about forehead botox causing weird brows is true. I did skin botox to smooth out the lines on my forehead in Korea. But when I returned to my own country even a popular/famous aesthetic doctor couldn’t perform skin botox the same way. I ended up with “angry” brows (though not very serious). The relaxed forehead muscles caused my brows to sink down at the front.
@Rhauxshna82
@Rhauxshna82 Год назад
You just need a great injector. Sounds like poor technique IMO. I have uneven/asymmetrical brows and it makes them even. I also used to have really deep permanent 11s from frowning and even when my Xeomin runs out it has never come back. My crows feet also disappeared completely with good skincare/botox stopping my frowns lol.

I am the only one that I need every day to hydrate my skin because it’s so dry. Like, every time that I wash my face it’s necessary to put crème on my face otherwise I feel like my skin will tear. That happen the last ~10 years and I am 26. I have go to dermatologists and they just suggested moisturizers. I've learned to live with it. I have also learned that of all the creams I have tried throughout my life, and believe me there are many, the best for my face is NIVEA the blue one. If anyone knows what could be causing my skin condition please let me know. I should also say that in the past, the same thing happened to the rest of my body. now not anymore. except on my face mostly

Hi Doc Youn. Can you please advise me on what to use to get red of my dark? I’m treating this terrible acne with PanOxyl Acne Creamy wash Clindamycin Phosphate(pledgets) and Arazlo(tazarotene) Lotion. I don’t even think it’s working, I wish I was given an oral antibiotic instead. But anyway I’m worried the acne is leaving me with lots of dark spots. What do I do?

I'm just curious about why are you all in this video, then. I understand the lack of interest in "rejuvenation procedures". I myself think that much of that is a cultural trap, but I wouldn't go in this videos and leave bellitling comments. Maybe the anger about the societal lack of respect for "normal" older women is being misdirected here? I assume this is it. I just want to point that you are sounding rude. No need to point your opinion in a deprecating manner.

Well that’s great for you. A lot of people get fillers to look less tired or angry cuz wrinkles around the eyes and mouth can make people look that way even if the person isn’t tired or angry. It gives a refreshed look. Has nothing to do with wanting to look younger. I’m 45 and I love my fillers and Botox. My makeup doesn’t cake in my wrinkles and my skin is nice and smooth ❤

Fillers look so unnatural. It's so obvious. Even if it's "minimal" and doesn't cause that puffy look. I always notice lip fillers and cheek fillers. it just changes the way someone looks and i think it's unnatural. celebrities need to let themselves age. i'd rather see a celebrity have lines on their face rather than having weirdly-shaped lips and cheeks that look unnatural.

Some people get filler that disrupts their facial harmony. For example lips get thinner as you age, so you should only get filler to replenish back to how your younger self looked. Too many people go overboard in my opinion

Try cutting sugar and dairy from diet
@cheapcraftygirlsweepstakes2338
Tazarotene worked for me. Took off the layers of old skin exposing the clogged pores then mupirocin to deal with any infection. I applied the mupirocin first then layered the Tazarotene on top. She can also try a round of Accutane if the problem is excess oil. As someone else mentioned it may be diet related too: dairy is a common culprit.
