Blapheroplasty or phenol peel? Early thirties, which one lasts longer? (The peel can get rid of all the heavy wrinkles forming all over) “typical” costs?
I can confirm about the brow trick. I felt like my brows were so low and I have bushy Brooke shields brows and thought it looked good on me. But then one day I tweezed the under part and made my brows more arched and it looked like I had a lift lol. Also shaping the arch a bit more with brow pencil + brushing the hairs upwards w/ gel lifts them even more.
Years ago I asked one of my employees how his weekend went. He said he went to his usual bar and ended up bringing home a girl. The next morning he woke up and saw the woman lying next to him. He rolled over and grabbed the bottle of booze on his nightstand. As he was talking a big gulp in an effort to ease the pain of what he brought home he hears the voice of the lady, “ don’t drink it all, you ain’t so pretty yourself.”
My fine lines kicked in at the speed of light after my 34 birthday, so I bought a microcurrent device (foreo bear) and I'm really happy with the results. To be honest, I chose it because it is the only one that has an anti shock system, but it is really effective. What happened next? I bought another foreo device - ufo 2 and it is amazing
I've bought a few of those under eye bag creams - yes sure they firm the skin up - but they are all very 'chalky' and you can't use any liquid make up on your face - hell even just using face powder kind of crinkles! Fine if you never wear make up - but still - feels VERY weird on the skin. Just saying...
Dr Youn, your channel has helped me to understand the risks of plastic surgery. If I had seen your videos sooner, I would not have made those same choices. I mean God knows, I might not have a cold, stiff hard nose right now.
An online dermatologist said devices may work for a few hrs… like Cinderella, if u’re going to an event… it last only for a few hrs. But years of red light consistency may help.
Im sat here using my nu face right now and its my favorite skin care device. Im 30 and its not only an awesome morning routine, but it tightens my skin, makes my pores MUCH smaller, and has all but erased any acne i used to get. I realize everyones skin is different, but this is one thing that i recommend to everyone because im obsessed and it works so well
Dr Youn, you sound like a wonderful doctor, but your products are so expensive that many of us can’t even come close to affording them. That’s too bad too because I’m retired with very little income. I am 77 and often I really look it! But, it’s nice to know that there are things out there for people who can afford them. Thank you very much.
My sister who used everything on her face and she suggested I get some facial creams so we went shopping and got the creams, I used them once, put the products away in a really good place and I haven't found them yet and that was at least 10 years ago. Now I would use a retinol cream and I do not have bags under my eyes but if I did, I would use that product that takes away the puffiness under your eyes. I think I would love to try a facial mask to clean my face. I feel I am lucky because although I am in my 70's I do not think I need Botox because I just do not have facial wrinkles.
Such a great video! Ladies, in your youth, look at your biological mom, and that is how you will age too! My mom used to have such great skin, but her neck was all wrinkled starting in her 50th, not gobbly, but not looking good, and now I have the same problem! I should have taken some preventing actions decades ago, but I just did not know and life was so busy! So now I have it, all sagging, and probably needing a facelift to improve... but will try the electric device first, thank you doctor!
I’m 21 and using things for anti-aging cuz I wanna be one of those women that look young when they’re old. I also changed my diet. Black don’t crack, but I wanna look frozen in time lmao
Good for you, I started doing the same exact thing at 20, it's the smartest way to go! I always did treatments that weren't too invasive as preventative measures. Botox lasers and a slight bit of filler under my eyes for my hollows. At 37 I got a lower mini facelift to get rid of some loose skin. Now I'm 40 and people think I'm 30. Don't let anybody make you feel selfish or vain for doing these things. Trust me, my 40-year-old friends now tell me they don't like the way they look and wish they had taken care of themselves all these years ❤️ Good luck! PS: I've always tried to keep up with the gym a couple times a week and eat clean foods as much as I can too. I'm not perfect but every little bit has helped.
These are the tips for people who want to look younger, and they do expensive things that are not effective and sometimes harmful. His advice isn't for you. He protecting ppl obsessed with youth from doing wrong things.
So which of these is gonna get you the best long term results for the least money? Do the micro current devices have a long term benefit or is it fully temporary?
Here they are not allowed to sell/import teeth whitening strips with hydrogen peroxide. I got some from Amazon years back before the import of things out side EU became so difficult and I loved using the. I tried both Bright Smile and Crest. Btw, my dentist say, that the led/blue light combined with the whitening, is just a gimmick. It doesn't speed it up or make the teeth whiter. Another thing is, not everyone can get really white teeth and, the older we get, the more yellow the bone in the teeth gets.
My husbands dentist has him using Periogel in trays for his gums. I noticed after a couple of months his teeth were super white, I’m now using it for whitening. It’s 100% peroxide in gel form, but you have to have trays to put it in over your teeth.
The first time I used the NuFace I saw an immediate difference. Since then, using it every day, twice a day, for 3 months...NOTHING. Same with the Solawave and the Nira. The only thing that helped was Tretinoin.
If I use any moisturising at night. I will have pimple the next day or 2.. I have changed a few products in the past. What should I go. I have pimple prone face.oily especially t zone😢😢😢😢😢😢
The teeth whitening strips and lights aren’t recommended by my dentist here in Europe. I’m not even sure the strips are legal here. My dentist explained that these fast whitenings can cause longterm damage to your teeths enamel making them more brittle.
Dr Youn , my aesthetician told me to stop using retinol products as I am not someone with wrinkles (even though I am 50)and I get some redness. She said I have thin skin and it will make it thinner? I've read retinol thickens the skin but in certain individuals maybe it doesn't??
This Origins Skin Retexturing Mask recommended here - it’s full of skin irritant fragrance! Stay away! Just use vaseline over your regular moisturizer in the night.
What’s your opinion on the Evenskyn Lumo and it’s potential effects on fat loss in the face? I know devices that heat up can cause damage to the layer of fat under the skin so I’m hesitant to use mine on the face and even on the neck. Thanks!
Doctor Youn how to get a consultation with you. On line. I love in Saudi Arabia. And I am heartbroken about my skin scars. I tried getting a consultation with a really well known dermatologist here, but she told me that she has no experience with any of the advanced procedures. And told me to book another appointment with a different derm from the same center, her 10 minute consultation was useless and expensive. I want a consultation with a real doc, and I think you’re the only one who I would trust rn
What do you do to hidrate if you are allergic to everything. I have tried every product out there and they burn my skin. And lately it's happening with hair color products. They make my scalp super itch and started to burn a little. For my daughter's wedding I had to cover my face with hydrocortisone crean to be able to tolerate the make up. Plus take allergy pills. So I just gave up.
You could try led light therapy. Red light helps with skin healing and collagen production, blue calms the skin and is anti-bacterial. You can either go to a salon or you can buy a at home device, like the led light mask that Dr. Youn uses in the video.
Hey there Dr. Youn! I really like your videos! I learn something new everytime. I wanted to know if your new product, PEPTIDE + BAKUCHIOL MOISTURIZER replaces the RETINOL EYE CREAM? Your products are higher than what I usually buy...but I want to try some of your products for my aging skin. I am concerned about the hallows/sunken eyes that I have, the few crows feet creeping in and I also noticed that my neck is forming wrinkles as well. Would the PEPTIDE + BAKUCHIOL MOISTURIZER handle my facial concerns that I am dealing with? A quick response would greatly be appreciated. I do plan on buying a few of your skincare products after your answer. Thank you kindly.
Doctor Youn, I'm from India and I'm only 33 years old, but I've noticed sagging in my face over the past two years, and my skin has always been very soft. What can I do to tighten my skin and achieve a more youthful appearance?
Led face mask, microneedling, tretinoin and vibration face massage tools, collagen supplements. It will make you look 5 years younger. Sunscreen and other skincare are must
