Hi Bunnies!
I am back with my surgery Vlog part 2 for you guys today, first of all thank you all so much for your words of encouragement and also sweet comments about my surgery, I truly appreciate it.
I know some of you probably still have tough time accepting my decision but this is me now and I'm very happy so I hope you guys can respect and accept my decision.
Comments like "you look better before, I still prefer you before" won't be much of a help now because I already did it and there is no way I can go back to my old face. Please before some of you write comments like this or other hurtful ones try sit back and think if you were in my position.
I know this video is forever going to stick with me and be labeled as "that korean girl who did plastic surgery Vlog on youtube", I'm doing this to help and educate people, so it is worth it. As long as this video is helpful for others I did the right thing.

"The doctor says I'm prettier now." That broke my heart to hear. I understand what was meant by that statement, that she looked pretty (as well) with the plastic surgery, but she looked very pretty before too.

A lot of people who did cosmetic surgery won't admit they did them or show their transformation process - that doesn't mean they are bad, but it's nice to see someone sharing their process for people who are interested in this field.

This is so weird...Korea makes the most money in plastic surgery...which I feel has led girls to think that they aren't pretty and it is mandatory to have a V line chin or to have double eyelids to be pretty... I feel soo bad for them..They are changing their unique features to look like everyone else? How can the world let these girls think they aren't pretty....and it's shocking to see this is a common thing in Korea... I agree you can do anything with your body...but when everyone can raise a voice for curvy women...or against body shaming...how can we let this go?

+carolyn soo The V-Line makes the face appear slimmer and smaller, which in my opinion makes the forehead look bigger and the eyes too actually. However, it is popular among asians (especially koreans) to have this ''cute'' and ''baby'' looking feature, that resembles ''best face/good looking'' (aka. Ulzzangs)

Viviane Harumi It actually all depends. The genes has influence too. I have alot of friends that has the slimmer face/V line shape. Sure some asians have round face (like me) but i can insure you that v-line shape isn't rare in asia.

***** For the record, the doctor said she looks prettier which meant "You were pretty but even prettier now". He did not say "Oh you were ugly but you are pretty now." I see nothing wrong with people changing what they are insecure about. You only live once. No one in this video encourages people to go and have surgery because they are ugly. You need to chill out.

I thought about that too but maybe he meant by "prettier" is that her face was swollen after the surgery and now that it healed "it looks prettier"?. But then again, Korean people are really straight forward, and would confidently say things like "oh, you gained weight" and such.

+Detective Kittens im 2 years away from starting plastic surgery residency and i just wanted to say gees chill its just a comment xD at least in my country the subspecialty is called plastic and reconstructive surgery, surgeons can choose to go either aesthetic or reconstructive dr lee got paid to her prettier so don't you think the comment fits? as others have pointed out before its not you were horrible before and now youre pretty, he simply said she looked prettier i get that you're trying to do a social commentary here but the examples you put fit into aethetic plastic surgery too: breast implants are not only for women who had mastectomy due to cancer, rhinoplasty is not only for people who broke their noses due to trauma if you don't like it then tough luck but many people choose to get these procedures because their self esteem ties in with their outside appearance. sure, its not the healthiest but its their choice, and if you feel it makes you insecure then whose problem is that? people are entitled to choice and if someone chooses to get a procedure done then they have the right to get surgeons who are qualified to do it plus health standards and proper patient care some people just will never be happy about their appearance and its much better that they get their procedures done by an actual md in an actual clinic rather than in some shady place where they can get infections or oil etc as fillers, as im sure youve seen in the news anyway, peace out, just defending my career choice here

Stop saying she looked prettier before. Do you know how rude that is? She already went through with it so stop complaining. She looks beautiful both before and after but the most beautiful thing is her confidence and happiness NOW. She's radiating with contentment and I think that's the most important part.

Don't say she look so much prettier before or that she shouldn't have done that to her body, people can do whatever they want to their face that makes them happy, nobody says "oh your skin looked so much better before that tattoo", so leave people who wish to change their appearance alone

IF you girls are considering bone shaving surgery DON"T. There isn't enough data on how those born surgeries will turn out as people age. As people age their bones shrink and get weaker so you are looking at serious complications as you age. You bones are shaped like they are for a reason, if you weaken any part of the bone, The more easier for it to all collapse. Look at the before and after x ray of her face. Her face bone structure is being held together by a thread. One wrong bump on her face and her face breaks literally. Slice open your eyes, inject whatever in your face, but DO NOT TOUCH YOUR BONES!!!

Im saying that before the operation she looked good and that even though after the operation, she also looked good and comments like yours are actually quite harmful to her and make them self-conscious and really doesn't fix anything. Not a hard concept to grasp.

"square face turned into beautiful face", that is honestly unappealing. so if you have a square face, you aren't beautiful? I feel like if they are going to do plastic surgery, they should put better words into their displays instead of using discouraging words.

i think because majority in korea didn't want squared face. but, western countries like America do love squared faces like Angelina Jolie, Demi Moore, etc.. even american models, majority of them had a squared face. i must say beauty really is subjective.

All this surgery seems so unnecessary. I can unstand if one feature you had was holding you back and making you feel self conscious, but if you are finding a whole list of things you want to change about your appearance, you have deeper issues stemming from your self esteem. Beauty is important to a certain extent, but you could lose it tomorrow or in a few years, you need to remind yourself that you are intelligent and you have more to offer than just your looks. You are unique and your genes are exactly 50% your mom's and 50% your dad's, there is no else on the earth who looks exactly like you. More importantly, you will always be beautiful in someone's eyes!

You're so brave for showing your post-surgical face to everyone. Thank you for the review. I've always wanted a smaller face but I'm so afraid of jaw surgery. Your review of the clinic has made me feel a lot more hopeful...maybe one day I can do it too lol. +Yung Chief maybe the amount of fat in your eyelids are uneven, but that's completely normal and very common. I grew up with uneven creases, my left eye is hooded, while my right eye has visible lower lid. I never really cared about it because I am not aware of it until I got to a phase where I was so observant of all my facial details. That's when I noticed that. What I did was, using an unused ear cleaner (you know that metal that has tiny "scoop" in it? Eww I know lol), I used that "scoop or spoon" end to outline my crease and make it the same as the other. I want my eyelids hooded, and not visible, by the way. I did that everyday for a almost a month and my eye got used to "falling" in that crease. Eventually it settled like that on its own. Optional: stick eyelid tape after forming your crease. Fake it 'til your eyes make it! I worked for me, it may also work for you. No harm in trying. No need to have PS just yet. :)) let me know if you have questions.

I have considered plastic surgery multiple times. I did a lot of research online and watched countless videos on the process. However after see your face post op day 1, i don't understand why anyone would go through that pain. I saw the actual procedures online too. When the remove fat and cut out parts. Its really disturbing. I changed my mind on the surgery. I am looking into alternative methods to get the results i want. For the V-line, i do facial massages and the slimming v masks.

Savannah Quintana it works a little. you have to do it everyday for a very long time to notice a big change. its quite time consuming and the mask is uncomfortable. if you really really want the V-line and dont want the surgery then its worth it.

Savannah Quintana the mask and massages works but it takes at least 2-3 months everyday non-stop to see a difference. if you want it to be permanent then you need to do it longer. i know this other RU-vidr she does the massages everyday for over a year and it works for her. for the nose there is nothing that can change it. if there is a product that says it will change the nose then it is a lie. the nose is made of only bones are cartilage so nothing can change the shape of the nose, only surgery or injections.

Im really happy for you and i bet it turned out great! But however I do feel negative towards plastic surgery, there nothing you can do now and I hope that you don't feel offended by this but here's my personal opinion on plastic surgery because I just want to share my thoughts. Not anyone's specific surgery but just overall. I think that you looked beautiful before and I wish I looked like that, you look beautiful now too but I really think it feels discouraging for other girls, at least for me. And what I see is people commenting "you can do what you want with your body" but in reality it is the society that makes us think that a certain look is beautiful. And I think that it is horrible what media does. My first reaction when I saw this was oh you're so pretty I want to do that too but at the same time I feel sorry for thinking that. I mean I bet all girls and boys have insecurities. But I believe we need to start encouraging to love ourselves as we are

+LINNONLY completely understand what you mean. even when i'm working out i sometimes have some weird thoughts about it. like why am i doing that. of course staying fit is good for your health, but do you really need such thighs or a nice lifted butt etc. i really hate the society for giving us all such high beauty standards but at the same time i cant do anything about it because it makes me think thats beautiful too. so sad ;; beautiful here is always meant on the outside of course

+NothingInteligent I kinda agree with the first comment, she said society makes a "certain look" popular and basically people strive after that look. The thing about losing weight, exercising, and enhancing yourself in natural ways is that those are the natural things that you were born with. Wearing makeup is hiding imperfections or enhancing certajn characteristics, but plastic surgery js finding nothing likable about the part of your face your changing at all, so it does show a lack of self esteem, even make up does in some cases. The truth of the matter is, especially in Korea, is that people getting surgery don't like or appreciate their own appearance because of the media telling them what's beautiful and accepted. I've had so many Korean friends and their always either insecure or super confident, and the confident ones had those characteristics that they a lot of them want to obtain, like double eyelids, and might I say monolids can be so darn pretty like Taeyang. While I don't mind people doing what they want with their lives and faces or whatever, I think it shows a lack of self esteem.

This is really sad. You were an absolutely beautiful girl before surgery and didn't need it at all. Of course you're an adult and are free to make such decisions, but I just grow increasingly disturbed as more and more women flock to South Korea to "perfect themselves". Plastic surgery shouldn't be normalized or glorified because it makes people believe that they are not good enough, that they are flawed in x, y, z ways. Let's get double eyelids, slimmer jawline, taller nose, and fuller lips...everyone wants the same thing. Everyone also ends up looking like one another. Like plastic products. I'm not here to say that you now look like all the other women who have had plastic surgery in South Korea. You still look very cute and beautiful and you seem like a very sweet person. I definitely don't want to hurt your feelings in any way and recognize that it took a lot of courage to document and share such an experience. Nonetheless, my personal belief is that plastic surgery is rapidly spinning out of control, taking human beings with it in the wrong direction.

+Iamqueen lea Let's see I have PCOS and my hormones were out of whack so the doctors prescribed me low dose birth control pills after about a month my skin was almost clear and after 3 months my skin was clear. It also helped that I started working out and ate and drank better. I had cystic acne, the ones that are large and red all across my neck and jawline and the smaller zits on the rest of my face. Make an appointment to your gyno and ask about them, since I had PCOS it also regulated my menstral cycle

there should be a video that show the surgery effect 20 years after the surgery. The movie star that has had surgery, looks great when they were young and get the surgery. But 20 years after, it look a bit scary. Maybe the technology is different now, and has different result.

Double eyelid surgery and vline surgery don't include implants like most western plastic surgery does. It doesn't change much in 60 years let alone 20. It's stitches and bone removal
