Plastic Welding - My Whaly Boat - Ep. 10, My 435R 

Looking to get a whaly at some point, but currently i have a kayak. Ive had to plastic weld a few months ago. A tool you might want to add to your arsenal is a solderpro 120 portable soldering iron. I used mine with the blower tip and it worked absolutely amazing. Ive had the solderpro 120 for 10 or so years now and although a bit pricey compared to cheaper butane soldering irons, it will be worth the investment in the long run. The whaly would be my first 'boat', and im looking forward getting it, and modding it similar to yours. Keep up the good work!

Thank you. I tried with a butane torch and had some success but it really gets too hot for the job.
