Hi I like how you focus on things others don’t speak about. Could you review Defense Mechanism MPEC and Shaw Concepts ARC V2. Those 2 plate carriers seems very well built and got lot of attention lately. Also it’s nice to review others plate carriers, but where stand IcePlate Exo Gen2? did you put your own plate carrier to those tests? Where are the results? Thanks
Thanks - glad you found it helpful! The Shaw Concepts ARC V2 is in the pipeline and we are pretty excited about it. You can find all of the weight information for IcePlate EXO on our Plate Carrier Weight Calculator (link in show notes above). As for the tests, we absolutely put IcePlate EXO through all of these tests (and quite a few more). We intentionally saved the IcePlate EXO video for 2023, but you can see early indications/predictors of how it will perform in a few articles on our INSIGHTS blog where similar, but not identical, tests have been performed on it: Hydrophobic Plate Carriers Part 1 www.qoreperformance.com/blogs/military-insights/crye-precision-jpc-2-0-vs-qore-performance-iceplate-exo-ice-should-you-buy-a-hydrophobic-or-maritime-specific-plate-carrier?_pos=2&_psq=hydrophobic&_ss=e&_v=1.0 Hydrophobic Plate Carriers Part 2 www.qoreperformance.com/blogs/military-insights/hydrophobic-plate-carriers-are-they-worth-it Thermal Transmittance and Spacer Mesh in Plate Carrier Design www.qoreperformance.com/blogs/military-insights/plate-carrier-cooling-heating-thermal-transmission-performance-of-plate-carrier-liners-like-spacermesh-sportskin?_pos=1&_sid=744da1eb7&_ss=r Hope that helps, but if you still have questions after reading those articles, just let us know! #StayFrosty
With Crye Precision Zip On Back Panels, yes. Details: www.qoreperformance.com/blogs/military-insights/are-ims-and-ims-pro-compatible-with-crye-zip-on-panels?_pos=1&_sid=2f449e71b&_ss=r
No, that configuration only works with the Crye Precision back panels: www.qoreperformance.com/blogs/military-insights/are-ims-and-ims-pro-compatible-with-crye-zip-on-panels
