Thats because you have to put your accordion to your left knee, otherwise you be hospitalised from back and chest pain coming from the weight of the accordion after 2 hours. ***** Not quite sure what you mean by all this, but it looks like you're trying to help out so I thank you for that. It's difficult with only a learner's accordion, broken straps, and no formal training. You, on the other hand, appear formal as fuck so I commend you on that. You play well.
JordanAccordion I m not sure also you are teaching accordion or making fun of it. I m an amateur player as you. If you give time, you get results. Informality makes you lose time if your aim is to play. You can play as you like though :D
Accordion is the accordion no matter how you play it. It's a beautiful tool of expression towards which this RU-vid channel aims to help people create their own means of exploring it. A lot of us kids are finding accordions at flea markets or vintage music shops for cheap and there are no teachers around so we have to learn on our own and with the internet. Unfortunately, there are not a whole lot of good accordion lessons online (other than "how to play a pop song"), mainly videos of accordionists playing beautiful music but giving no clue as to how. I don't consider myself an accordionist at all, but I do know music and I find the accordion a beautiful instrument to help introduce anyone into that dimension. In the process I did find out that the best way to improve is to learn new styles and songs and chord progressions--new music. This all I have to offer to budding accordion players. I try to share what I know and make it fun in the process--because that's what the accordion is: fun! If every accordion player offered some tips and taught their favorite song, imagine how many more confident accordion players there would be in the world? And just wait, #Accordiasana is coming soon!
JordanAccordion As long as people wants to try to give lessons and making money out of it,there will not be good tutorials in anywhere but a platform can be good of it. Accordion is fun anyways as I started like that too but it made addiction :D I taught myself too. Started in late 2013 but I had graduated from state conservatory (from bassoon + 2 years piano education). So I can say there is no fun in pro music if you dont really like an instrument. I m watching videos since I started and learned many things from professionals about accordion. The most important trick is ALL high level accordionists are pianists but later became accordionist for interest. So if you study Hanon piano exercise book on accordion I m doing it right now this summer, you can play like pro if you give the time and hard effort to that. I really can be a part of a free platform if anything established about accordion teaching and information freetrade. Have a nice day :D
