Hey Manly, Dev here I first wanted to start off by saying, wow, it's such an honor to see you play and enjoy FTWA, I've been a long time subscriber, and actually, seeing you play indie horror games inspired me to try and make my own, I remember in particular when I seen you play tgotchi, I really wanted to work on an update to the game to try and make it as good as it, so, in a way you sort of helped create this game. So thank you very much for playing and enjoying it! Now, to answer some of the questions/theories you had at the end, I'll start off by saying yes, there is another ending, and I have not seen anyone get it yet, and you were pretty on the nose with it. But it really wouldn't justify another playthrough, as it's pretty much just a short cut scene. There is also a rare easter egg I have yet to see, nor I'm not sure I will. As for the full release, it is going to be a whole separate game, based on the prototype version but with a lot more depth. But I also wanted to say that development has, for the time being, been halted, and the main reason behind that is I just have a lot of expectations for the game, and I've only been developing games for a little over a year in my free time, with no prior experience or schooling, and I just don't believe I have all the skills I need yet to make the game the best it can be. So for now, I am currently working on some other projects, but I am very excited to get that ball rolling again, because this game has had a place in my heart ever since it's release, and it always puts a smile on my face seeing all these people enjoy it. :) So, again, thank you for enjoying my crusty game I made for a game jam. One of these days Manly's gonna play a game that actually happens to be cursed, but he's been through so many of these that the ghost is lost as to why he is unaffected by much and gives up. lmao Also i kinda thought there would be a jumpscare lol By the way Manly, I'm playing through El Shaddai again on steam! Game still holds up real well.

I think the ending u get when pushing the ball under the cup was an actual ending, as in the text on screen it looks like it says 'plA4ing' giving the code of A4, although I'm not sure if anyone else pointed it out or it was just my imagination lol

So, here's what I think (as always spoilers for the video below) I think Ayumi is indeed the AI named UMI, referenced in the document shown around 8:20. And since it mentioned three different AIs, my theory was that the other two may have served as Ayumi's family, with her 'Dad' also being an AI. At 11:14: the Dad mentions 'them' having found him, and intending to kill him. I couldn't help but interpret "they" as being the computer scientists working at AIAI and "kill" in the sense of killing a process/program, ie either shutting him off or wiping him clean. Of course, the immediate question that comes to mind is "why". I imagine he had developed tendencies that were contrary to AIAI's goal, either by acting independently, or by getting corrupted in the same way Ayumi maybe is (which would explain her murderous tendencies). Of course, without sufficient corroboration, this is a mere assumption on my part (he could also very well be a human having adopted ayUMI against AIAI's directives). But that's the reason why I think that the image at 13:20 wouldn't necessarily be that of the Dad. It may represent one of the AIAI computer scientists, and be wish fulfilment on Ayumi's part. Pretty sure that Ayumi's an AI, at least. Another hint is to be found in the diary entry possibly penned by her, shown at 10:25: "Today at school, we were asked if we had any routines we follow at home, and I was the only person in class who answered! I was really embarrassed about it." Of course she'd follow _routines_ if she's a program. Based on all that, accessing the debug room would essentially be a way of curing Ayumi from the corruption without offing her, or in other terms, manually overriding her faulty programming without forcefully shutting her off. I interpret her disappearing as being rewritten (and basically loosing her identity as it is now) but this seems to be a less violent end than whatever her 'Dad' has experienced (or feared he'd be experiencing). These were my two cents! Aside from that, agreed on the game feeling derivative of Doki Doki at the beginning, and then less and less the longer you play. I'm personally a huge fan of the art. This slightly chunky pixel art works very well here, gives a game a lot of character and I find it absolutely charming. ^^

I learned about this game from my 8 year old sister. How *she* found out about the game is beyond me.

Glitchy meta games like these can be hit or miss but I really liked the puzzles and exploration aspect through the game! Like the routine puzzle and clicking on the hearts to input a code- I would have never thought to do that. Then again, that's why I watch Manly lol

Props to this for going so complicated with the puzzles, they make you earn that true ending. No challenge to Manly, but I appreciate all the effort.

after a long while the last ending was finally discovered by gtlive, based on how they got it Manly was actually pretty close to it, he just needed to click the bed after the tv for the "ritual"

_Aww_ I was surprised that this game that looked so cutesy had this sad undertone. I liked it. Maybe it was the daughter who was killed in a hit and run, so the father diligently worked on transforming his UMI AI files to be a little surrogate. And apparently she was trying to defend herself from being deleted or changed after he was killed for his research. I guess the debug room allowed her to be free on the internet and escape.

There is actually another ending. MatPat from GTLive found it. I don't remember the details, but you can find a special tape if you go all the way to the right in the hide-and-seek portion and keep clicking the arrow. As for what happens, it basically ends up the way you described with the protagonist finding out too much and, well, I don't remember what happens after that, but you can check out the video on GTLive if you want to know more.

The lore and true ending feel shoehorned in. Nothing about the first few minutes of the game implied any of the sort.
