My weekends are never boring thanks to you Marty. You're the best. :D Would love to see a viedo on Dan Auerbach "Never in my wildest dreams" in particular, or any of his songs really. My favourite artist after Marty Schwartz.
Just got the course Marty! I’ve watched your channel for years, and absolutely Jerry’s playing and the Dead😊 Thank you for making this!😊 Deadhead for life!😁
Just got off the phone with Bobby and he says Jerry got paid for playing. Maybe you could ask for a miracle if you’re low on funds. Keep teaching Marty!
@@AndrewTuma1 no doubt Jerry was paid.. abundantly! I doubt he was in it for the monetary payment though; simply a benefit to it all. Thanks for the suggestion on teaching Marty.. it’s not my role nor my intention.. same goes for asking for miracles.. I’ve found they operate at their own pace with a collaborative approach encompassing all things. Regardless, I appreciate Bobby’s insight.. opens things up a bit. 🤙🏼
7 minute lesson, With a backing track, Became a 1.5 hour 🎸 jam. Thanks Marty. Definitely considering that new solo lesson, interested in the why of his technique uses.
Marty, any chance you could do a mini lesson on the way to play the backing jam track in video 10 of this lesson? Love the notes and tones you get out of it and I’ve tried to replicate it but would be better to ensure its correct. I’d be willing to subscribe to that.
just what i was looking for! i remember watching you back when I was just starting out, glad to see you have a video on one of my favorite guitarists! do one for trey anastasio!
Marty I’d love it if you did you did a lesson in black bock by the Melvins. I’m an Iowa guardsmen overseas right now trying to soak up as much guitar as I can!
Thanks for doing the jerry stuff marty. Jerry is one of my greatest influences for electric guitar playing. More dead tutorials please!! Anyone would be good!! Maybe a china cat riff tutorial? Or a jack straw, any of their big popular songs! Thanks marty
Does your beginner course teach reading sheet music? I’ve been learning for almost two years just with tabs and RU-vid tutorials but I want to learn how to read music now.
I've been trying to learn how to play dear god by xtc and can't find a good video I love your lessons they are super easy to follow learned to play guitar watching one of your videos when I was 12 and have been playing since thanks
Hey Marty another great lesson from you is it possible if you could do a lesson on gitaur tab and sheet music the sheet stuff using a staff and all that Thanks buddy
Hey Marty can you do a lesson on mod Suns I remember way to much acoustic version? The chords on the tabs aren’t right but I’m not far along enough to figure it out
Would really love to see a lesson of “heavenly day - patty griffin” fell in love with this song after the scene from haunting of hill house but can’t find a good lesson anywhere keep up the awesome work :)
Marty you are an amazing teacher. I’ve been watching your vids for years and even started learning from your first DVD’s. Could you please make a video for Chris Cornell’s acoustic cover of Thank You by Zeppelin. It’s an awesome beautiful song stripped to just acoustic guitar.
Hey Marty, I didn't know where to put this so I'll just drop it here. I was watching your video "My Favorite Riffs of the 2000's" and I noticed how you said you were into Linkin' Park. I was listening to the radio in my car (I know, crazy right?) and the station hosts played something from "Grey Daze." They said that it was Chester Bennington's first band before Linkin' Park. Apparently a lot of people got together and saved his vocals but revamped all the songs. It seems like they have guitar in it but it's underneath kinda this effect/atmosphere. Also features Chester doing some of the spoken word/rapping. Anyways, thought you might be into it if you haven't heard about it already. I think it would be cool to learn B12 by Grey Daze and I always love when you show off pedals, amps, guitars, and effects so it might be interesting to talk about some of that too. But if not, it's a cool way to get some new old Linkin' Park feeling kinda stuff. You're the best and I'm proud to wear your t-shirt. I got it in pink!
Everybody want to play like Jerry. You gotta lose the 335 and get a Scott Walker Phantom or maybe a PRS Modern Eagle and of course a Mu-- Tron and of course get your banjo roll rolling.. and no middle finger picking on your right hand allowed. Throw in some chromaticism and chord tones and smoke a fat out and your ready to rock.
Hey Marty you should put your love by the outfield, I tried many videos but none of them work for me could you please put your love by the outfield and I would really
Marty, you're the best at this. Which is why I'm asking if you can please start doing lessons for newer music(Daniel Caesar, Frank Ocean)? I usually can't find solid tabs/ lessons for the new stuff
Sir can you please do here today by Paul McCartney I tried other players tutorials but non of em were as good or as clear as you are . Thank you and i appreciate you
