Thank you for this beautifully eclectic performance. As a huge fan of Tim’s work, I think part of his genius is who he chooses to collaborate with, and this is never so evident in this piece. The elaborate and spectacular flamboyance of the visuals in perfect and deliberate juxtaposition to the lyrics, allows the performers to shine, as Tim’s music seems uniquely able to elicit across the productions he’s involved in. He would be the first to point out that this is the result of a vast talented staff, and that’s clearly true here too, but his lyrics seem to bring out the best in all of us, which is why I’m such a fan, and why my kids pertinently quote his songs all the time. Thank you for yet another gift of genius.
