When you live with something every day, it becomes blasè. This slaps us hard across the face to remind us Aussies how amazing our land, buildings and culture really is.

I get the blasé and the need for the reminder. I live by Lake superior. I’ve never had time in Australia to appreciate the beauty there. There is something about the big lake here that is amazing and I always try to take it in when I turn and see it. I don’t want it to get blasé! Thanks for the thought process and sharing your perspective. :-)

Good day, sir! This was really cool That is interesting… I know I remember learning about the opera house when I was in elementary school or something like that… It’s been a while… I’m sure I learned that then. Thank you for mentioning it now.

My Adelle understood this song well before I did. She pointed out that there are STILL people in Sydney who complain that the Opera House is a waste of taxpayer money, a blight on the landscape, and so on.

Tim was the perfect choice and he definitely didn't let them down..just fantastic. Quite a few stars did cameos, a few opera stars that i don't know their names.. sorry. But Rock Legend Jimmy Barnes was the guy on the couch with him and the beautifull Courney Act was the girl in green! Also a shot od Crowded House doing their final performance on the stairs of the Opera House and also the shot of naked people by that guy that does all those lol.
