Omen is like that one annoying pawn in chess where if you don't take him out before he reaches your side of the board, he could turn into an important chess piece and clap your entire team
I recently saw this guy and since I started watching him and taking notes I feel like I’m smurfin him comp and consistently hitting 30-40 kills tysm for uploading such good advice and keep it up👍👌 most underrated valorant player/ coach/ content creator
A few notable plays I feel are great as Omen on Haven that weren't mentioned: - if you have your ult ready and on B or C and they hard push A, smoking A lobby covering both exits onto A long & Sewers and then ulting on the tall box in A lobby catches a lot of enemies offguard who may try to come find you and not be looking up high - on attack paranoia-ing out of B window towards B and then quickly jump teleporting out of the window down to the right so you can catch anyone trying to flank from B or C garage - on the occassion where your team really wants to quickly rush A but there is danger of flankers, I mix it up to contest space elsewhere but sometimes throw default smokes into tower and ct, paranoia from the start of A long through the cubby top of sewers and then teleport on the tall box and lurk to catch the flanker too as the first place they check is swinging in to look at the left corner inside A lobby - again, if rushing A and spike is going down and I havent used my paranoia yet, paranoia-ing tower and teleporting up and either holding tower stairs or depending on certain factors pushing out and catching anyone pushing through ct to site - defending from B if it's an eco round or if the attackers have been showing that they havent been clearing corners or we are loaing and I want to try something different to catch them offguard start of the round paranoia B window slightly to the left, teleport to the left of window and then the stairs covers me so I can either wait for someone to jump out of window or peak right and catch enemies slow pushing C garage

Went like 1/10 first half second half attacker i went like 22-10 because of the control mid strat and listen for info was insane caught enemies tryna flank every round

One play that works a lot, especially against sova/fade reveal is to oneway in the wall on top of the box so that only half the box on top is covered. Then its easy to swing out and get free kills. Better than the smoke covers everything and you need to wait/jump out of it
Do you have an icebox guide? I like the map but i legit have negative win rate on the map. Like what agent is great there and how tf do i hold a tight space like A and which gun is better for defense there
Quick question I see on attack that your lurking a lot. I’m a d3 controller main and is it worth to lurk on controller since if you die early your team won’t have smokes? That’s probably a reason I’m hardstuck diamond is bc idk how to lurk. I usually just follow my team most times and try to trade them and secure the round. Idk when I lurk I usually die before my team even wants to hit a site and ends up costing us the round idk. Sorry if this is weird and a dumb question
as tempting as these aggressive omen plays and tps in the smokes as it would be possible to have them implemented in low elo matchs, cos theres alwyas someone pushing the smokes or in the smokes for no ducking reason
can't speak for high ranks but if you're in a lower rank (like me lmao silver/gold mostly but sometimes i get plats in my games) i LOVE ulting hell on A site...i would say people check for me like 3/10 times. most often people will immediately look up and hold heaven and bc of valorants pov they cant see me in front of them and i get 1-2 free kills! obviously you can't do this every round but ive found it works out great for me in my lower lobbies!
dude come hang out in my lobbies. f ever throw a chokepoint smoke on C, I'll get insulted by iron brans... would be good if you made an episode explaining why those smokes are usefull, thhis way everytme reddit downvotes me into oblivion, 'll have something to point them to. Omen main btw...
A lot of you guides are about lurking and while omen isn’t the best lurking agent if no one else on your team is doing if it makes sense but it’s probably better to have someone else lurk and you just play with the team for your blind
