I’m glad to see that the one part of the song that was teased got strengthened more. Overall the song just feels more mythical and angelic with the use of specific instruments…

Very nice hearing a more complex version of Play the Savior, letting it shine brighter than it could with the original instruments Also I cant wait to hear the Hero motif in its debut track when Genesis of the End gets remade...

i always find the logs that seem to be from the player’s perspective incredibly interesting. paints the player as much more introspective and thoughtful than they seem via in-game dialogue (ppl often treat u as “the muscle” who just goes and fights monsters). huge credit to whoever’s been writing them in a lot of these song descriptions :)

I love the logs, they give easily consumable chunks of lore to people who don't interact with it, or for people who do indulge in it, it's something that can help give more context to something

From looking back over all the previous logs, they all seem to be from certain classes as well. Some end with W [Warrior], Ar [Archer], M [Mage], As [Assassin], and others like this one ends with S [Shaman]. The first number also seems to be the level that character was at during the time of the log. For instance, this is 079-0S which suggests that it was written by a Level 79 Shaman (the level at which you can complete Realm of Light V and therefore unlock the Orphion's Nexus of Light raid).

I like it. Though I have to wonder how much noises from the fight will cover the music compared to before, since it sounds "softer" than the old noteblock version. (IDK how to describe it better, like each note is less sudden in this version)

turn down your hostile creatures and pretty much everything except the wynncraft music in the esc > music & sounds menu and u should be able to get it as loud as u need (turn up main volume to counter turning down everything else)

Nice. My one critique is that the original orchestrated version had a heavy emphasis on guitar rifts. Typically, these greatly add to the intensity of a situation. I do like the use of flutes, however. That was something that I have seen other composers use in their remake of Play the Savior. But jesus, 40 hours? Get some well deserved rest.

A lot of people envy the idea of an electric guitar for the music, which I think is fair! We found electric guitars require a lot of in-depth skills and techniques that add to its quality. That unfortunately doesn't translate well into staccato-based notes. But one could wish.

I think people should try listening to both the older version and the newer version at the same time. While the newer version has the complexity, the older version's guitar gives it some "backbone" and tension.
