I've been really enjoying turn 2 fish in my jeska ishai deck. Being able to drop a rock and cast fish off that let's you keep it around much longer while still having mana on board to hold up interaction and keep building your board up.

I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure Cam would’ve been able to go infinite in hame one with barrin and dockside, since he milled gilded drake and could’ve stolen kinnan, which should double the treasure mana. It would’ve taken a bit more and he got the combo anyways but that would’ve been one of the other ways to do it!

Thoughts on Tyler targeting Cam with the stroke of genius so Cam could possibly draw into a counterspell and have enough mana to pay for it? There's a world where you can call it king making, but I think it's a valid play cause Dylan had the win on the stack

I understand why someone might feel like it is king making, but more cards in a player’s hand means more chances for counterspell. That would make it the optimal play for Tyler to have a chance to win.

Fish on turn 2 tends to be better vs good players than it is turn 1 against good players. Plus you're able to keep the fish around longer usually the later you play it

Not knowing Tylers hand, im working with missing information, but im really surprised spinning kInnan wasnt the play (instead of cycling the land and that stroke for 1.) Seeing 5 cards, with Drake, Phimage/Meta (with Horizon land its 8 mana, so Spellseeker Pact is live) and even Runic Armausaur being outs.

In game 1 I think Cam made the breach line way harder on himself. Rather than gambling on brain freeze he could have just cast intuition and got every piece he needed

So we talked about this a lot and ultimately came to the conclusion that he couldn’t. At 6 cards in yard (counting intuition) and 4 treasures he would have run out of cards. After the Int cast he’d be down to 1 treasure and 3 cards. Someone gives him freeze to hand. Gotta cast led for mana exiling 3. And then you have freeze in hand intuition in yard led in play. So if you crack for the mana you gotta discard freeze and then dont have enough cards to recast. If he casts intuition after he has 6 treasures and 4 cards in yard he’s left with random card in hand, led, freeze and intuition in the yard which doesn’t give him enough to cast anything else At least this is the conclusion we came to. Happy to be proven wrong
