Auxillary reactors require reactor fuel to increase available reactor power. Reactor fuel requires gold. There are other ways to improve your Tech: Some parts apply modifiers to parts attached directly to them: • Reactor Efficiency - reduces reactor power required by the efficiency value (to a minimum of 0) so a part with Efficiency 12 reduces the needed power by 12. Efficiency attachment parts tend to only work with certain part types (axles only work with wheels, weapon mounts only work with weapons, etc...) • Turbo - improve speed or power • Superconductor - reduces battery charge consumption rate • Armor - either reduces damage taken or increases hit points • Amplify - increases damage of attachments.

go find enemy Techs that have Trailblazer Axles = they save power on attached wheels. you cannot just sit there when fighting plasma guns = KEEP MOVING!

Ok.. In order to craft a single item, you select it and THEN you click ONCE on auto fill. For multiple crats you just click the auto fill however many times you need. You have to be on your Techyard to collect your quest rewards (small squares up the top) There is a block catalogue that you can store vehicle parts in (I believe if you ALT click it will put all the parts in your inventory into it!) Extra reactor will need fuel and I'm not sure you want to grind all the materials for it. Hope this helps!

REFINE the debris into carbon! Also look trought the menus while you are on the base platform, you can collect the money from the quests and spend it on part blueprints.

When building stuff in your workbench / fabricator you can press "auto fill" to pull from your inventory rather than drag stuff over. The inventory interface leaves a lot to be desired. I feel like it was better in previous builds.

Control + click on tech parts while on your tech yard. You can store your tech items there instead of in the silo.

TLDR; generally speaking, IT'S SO MUCH FUN, and doesn't disappoint. the full game is gonna be amazing. things need tweaking before going live. the parts cost too much to start with. it needs rebalancing. to build a very simple tech costs all the reactor power. not asking to be op, asking to be able to build more than just less than a barebones tech. like 12 points for a medium wheel, and 15 for an armored one. you put 4 wheels on, and u can barely put anything else on, never mind being able to shoot and fight back. the frames should also add some bonuses. the small frame a small amount, like 1-3 or 2-4 or 2-3 points, then you'll encourage ppl to build with those. more attachment points for larger blocks, like the large cargo, and the frames. having like 4 internal instead of having several would be really nice. obviously optimisation issues. supposing u could call this an unofficial bug report and suggestion box type note :3. overall the gameplay is fantastic, the environment engaging, even looking cartoony like it does, it's still quite immersive. it's gorgeous. the crafting UX sucks, TBH. liked the other way better, with a count of how many u want, etc. that autofill helps that issue a lot, however, but still it's not intuitive. it's like trying to emulate how minecraft machines work but not quite there. generally speaking, this is here so the devs have some input on some suggestions.

I've also noticed that through your plays that you never seem to open the missions window and claim the rewards from these tasks. You often get money and you can use that to buy newer and better techs. Just an fyi.

hey hey hey! here's how to get phosphorus in the demo step 1: get your hands on a tech yard, tractor beam, and resource Lazer (gather other resources like aluminum before starting) step 2: find the desert like biome at the edge of the boarder step 3: enter build mode place the tech yard under yourself, claim it, place the tech yard out of bounds (on land) and then respawn step 4: you've made it outside step 5: drive till you find a big plant like flower (its okay to be flashing red just don't get hit) step 6: find a good sized, sold piece of quartz, and carry it with the tractor beam step 7: place intact quartz piece at the base of the big flower step 8: shoot the quartz with the resource Lazer to blow a crater in the ground destroying the big flower! step 9: YAY PHOSPHORUS, and a lot of carbon now you gotten your phosphorus and can continue your mission of sending resources into space, good luck fellow techs Edit: or just destroy the shotgun plants there :>

Z1, you can "Kill" the electric trees with ammo weapon fire/attacks, but your resource mining laser won't work as it is an energy weapon it is worth it to take out Electric trees as they drop a lot of lithium when destroyed. Your battery increases the total charge capacity you can store up allowing you to use your mining lasers for a longer duration or handle multiple mining lasers load at a time and auxiliary reactors need reactor rods to start functioning in general while it is on your Terra Vehicle.

The only reason I even figured out how to store parts in my tech yard was that i was trying to figure out how the tech yard storage block worked

i would fill a mini silo with debris connect it to a refinery to refine to carbon, then connect it to a generator. then i would turn off other buildings when not in use to conserve power

I need a console PS5 version of the game so I can play it. The amount of progress in a short period of time that I make is quite surprising. Especially with this game so I absolutely must play this game. I am very supportive of this game because it is one of my most loved games. Haven't played in a while as I am waiting for new content. The scrap faction is cool and all but the faction I'm mostly looking forward to is NEW LEGION which will have SPIDER LEGS which are a replacement for wheels. I cannot wait to make spider tanks it is going to be awesome. Also a centipede missile craft would be epic as well. Like centichoro from one punch mans second season.

the reactors didn't work because they need fuel. tho like 5 other ppl mentioned it :P. also move around, and don't just facetank that plasma dude, it outguns u ;)

Jumped into the demo. There is no reliable way to increase your reactor. You may get lucky with a random piece drop, but you’re supposed to build a better cab. The better cabs cannot be crafted yet.

I remember seeing someone destroy one of those blue trees in another video.

do a modded terratech playthrough. (Lemon Kingdom mod is crazy)

Awesome demo. Can’t wait for the full release. One thing, anybody know how to increase the reactor size? I figured I needed a better cab, but I can’t make any of the cabs that are unlocked besides the beginner scout cab.

When I played this demo, I spawned into this exact same world and went to the exact same base for parts, and I hadn't even watched this video yet.

You can clone your tech parts and save different builds. this is useful for different situations. possibly the most underused function of the game.

ftis frame is fancy and good looking, but has at least two downgrades; 1. its power costly without good bonuses 2. Your wheels generates power costs, which U will not have wit any axles (and they takes smaller amount of reactor...)... 3. this frame is very vulnerable, if U lose it, U are practically dead... ...i've died reently most of the time because of this frame, and its not tat easy to get it, because in most causes U kills TECH with this frame destroying its frame tho ...ammo is not that necessary, if U put enough batery power, and some of them has amplify modifiers, then U can fight with only four (or five) resource drills

This game looks stupid. Either stop starting it all over the third time in a week and show us more game, or just stop wasting the time, 'cause it looks like not much content in the game.
