I love ❤️ it, finally , I hear this classic masterpiece in a long version, this song one of my all TIME FAVORITES, music industry doesn’t have great music like this one NO MORE, 70’s 80’s 90’s my kind of Music 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍🙏🗽❤️🇨🇺🇺🇸
The seventies was best decade for music from my vantage point. There were many genres that extended their songs, especially Disco and Rock. When you listen to the music of today... That's why I'm glad I grew up in the seventies. Love and Peace to everyone and stay safe.🎶☮️
I simply cannot get enough of this classic-70s hit! And the extended version is the stuff that dreams are made of. It just is that. Those keyboards, those harmonies, and that hypnotic guitar are tough to beat. It is too bad that Player had such a short run. However, that is the way it is for many bands. (Even the Beatles toured the world for just two years.) Player issued four studio albums, but then it just had to hit the showers and didn't come back for years. By then, it was forgotten by most of radio-land.
Pizza Pie, I appreciate and LOVE your input and info on the music and the history of the group. You remind me of myself. Here's another fact about the group Player, for years one of the members was on a soap opera. Love and Peace to everyone and stay safe.☮️❤️💋
...When that bass starts rumbling out with the electric guitar at 3:00 and you're on a good system with a sub, watch out! You can feel them grooving in the music
It's interesting to know that because we moved from the UK back in January of '78 and this was the first time in America that we heard this song, whereas we never heard of player back in the UK!!! The same holds true for Robert Palmer, on our flight from the UK to California. Our favorite track that really defined the move to America was every kind of people and we never knew of his popularity until the '90s when he redid and remastered that same song and put a video to it. Such great memories and this has been part of the soundtrack of my life.
