i feel like the rule of every clocktower game with patters in it needs to be "if patters is alive he needs to be executed" followed by its corollary: "patters lies - no exceptions" XD
Watched the VOD of this on Twitch! Hilarious game with great demonstration of the Fang Gu's power when moving around the circle. Awesome return for Ben!
I think Jams inferred from Aggie pulling Ben into a chat that he was the demon and was trying a crazy game into seeing if Ben would accidentally leak info?
Gambler as a bluff is tough. You're "confirming" people but then you're going to run out of people to throw sus on with all this "confirmation". Evil needed Jojo to die.
Yeah it makes a lot more sense as a bluff for a feng gu, cause then you know you'll die at some point and you can throw some shade on whomever you want, saying that you gambled them and died. Of course no one else will die so that leaves some ambiguity, but the world of gambler death + demon hitting a protected player is a pretty good world
They were fantastic. My only complaint was, as they were the support act, they didn't get anywhere near enough time. It would have been great to hear the whole of 'The Sun, the Moon, the Star' from start to finish. Due to time constraints, they only played the last few minutes of it. - Ben
I saw Aether Realm and Nekrogoblicon with Alestorm on Halloween once. Might have been one of the coolest overall show experiences ever. We were much closer to AR's home state though, so no hamfisted Robin Hood references.
Man, this is the first time I'm commenting, I think, but I have to tell you all that I've been so sick in so much pain for so long and I was having just the WORST night. Then I watched 2 episodes with Ben and Patters back to back and my whole night has gone good again. Thanks friends!
So this is how Ben plays. Interesting. Definitely very fitting for his experience. Not leaning heavily one way or the other. Not revealing too much. Not giving too many accusations or throwing too much heat. I wonder if he does the same as good
I've admittedly only seen Iris in two games (including this one) but in both they seem to get very indignant if they get pushed on or executed by town if they're not trusted
I understand disappointing situations in clocktower, but I really dislike reactions like Iris' - it's a team game, with lying, and it's supposed to be fun. Don't spit your dummy out.
It really bothers me when townsfolk take it personally that people don't believe them. Like, you have to look at it from the point of view of everyone else, who doesn't know that you're good no matter what you say. Just because you were right doesn't mean everyone else should have implicitly believed you the whole game.
Getting upset at being dogpiled on a flimsy basis is a pretty reasonable reaction. What impact does it have on you, just one of over 5000 spectators of a game - a few seconds of hearing that someone did not enjoy part of the game that they, not you, were actually playing in? "Don't spit your dummy out." Good advice. Maybe you should follow it.
@@mmrow1634 having played ~30+ games, storytold, ~50 and watched about 300 hours of games, with a variety of players. It's not a common reaction. I appreciate the passive aggressiveness though 👌
