He had to play open qualifiers with an inexperienced mid player, and an “unpracticed” carry player They won Open Qualifiers. Won Regional Qualifiers. Won Group Stage. Won TI8, now you’re looking at a 2 time champion, and the highest earner in Dota 2 history. Notail I followed your story. You really deserved it. And im not crying.

I have mad respect for mindcontrol. Seriously amazed at his sportmanship. This is not something easy for him to watch and despite that, he was able to joke around with everyone, even OG.
he already won a TI that's why it is easy for him to control his emotions, unlike w33 who haven't experienced winning TI. When you get what you dreamed off, you are starting to lose passion on that thing because you already have it, no more motivation, something like that.

i feel like jerax is close to his ex-liquid teammates, i already knew he and matu still close, but i wasnt sure jerax and mindcontrol would be, due to how mindcontrol tilted so hard.
My thoughts exactly, for me watching as both a Liquid and OG fan I felt like MC had the hardest time during the games, but his reaction here proves he overcame that and hopefully both teams will meet again in TI 10
I remember Miracle's Player Profile when he joined Liquid and Kuro talked about his "carefree nature". This is such an amazing quality to have! It takes the drama off of everything, it makes it so easier to keep moving forward...Damn I wish I were like that!
First off, I think it's incredible the amount of success N0tail has had despite being such a tremendously emotional person. I can understand why people gravitate towards him - that kind of genuine compassion and charisma are hard to find. I hope he never retires. And secondly, Topson didn't even blink for over an hour but you could tell he was trying REALLY hard not to smile when the casters were gushing over his Diffu Gyro build
This is the most chill finals I've seen, like both teams dont let the pressure get to them at the beginning. Shows they have a very level head even at the most precarious situations
I am sure he can speak English well enough, but he quite a typical Finnish guy :) I mean look at Matu, he is quite similar... Jerax is more talkative than Finns on average and a fair bit more open.
MC is actually hands down the most adorable Dota 2 player in the entire scene. I am not even kidding, the way he handles his fails or his mistakes are so wholesome, how he is laughing with OG and the way he just jokes around with Jerax all the time, is a really warm reaction
1:20:00 "This makes you a legend, not the TI before, not the majors." It's so amazing to see how much deep respect Kuro (and to the extent, these two teams) have with N0tail. He KNEW it could have been him, and instead of rewinding and regretting over and over again, he fully accepted it and graced in defeat, and congratulate N0tail instead. In terms of mental fortitude, these two is probably the best players currently performing, maybe even ever.
Kuro has the strongest dad energy in this. Seeing him still being there for his players, supporting N0Tail when he gets emotional... He knows that TI isn't just about 1 team winning, it's all the players living their dreams on the biggest stage. His respect for everyone is beautiful.

Hi it's 2022 and going back to what I view as a "OG greatest hits" and instead seeing two teams realizing accomplishments and failures is amazing. The love between Kuro and N0Tail is remarkable

Yeah, that Topson moment and him pointing out that Liquid only have physical damage in game 3, which arguably made OG win, really highlights how he's no longer a rookie. Compare him at TI8 where his only job in draft is to tell Ceb and Notail what hero he wants most. That's pretty badass.
Great analysis. Everyone in OG 2019 shows a tremendous understanding of the game, esp. Jerax, Topson and Ana, even under the extreme heat of the battle.

W33 had so much potential, he played godlike w33 mepo is auto win, much like anna IO/spectre. He lost twice in the finals. And he isn't even respected. His story always makes me cry. I genuinely feel for him.

I still remembered when notail was still "bigdaddynotail" and his role was carry that time, he was booed, bash and many said that he wasn't good enough that fly left him out of thin air and that he should retire. But when he won TI 2018, he regain his momentum and he had his revenge to the one who bashes him but still that wasn't enough because they said that it was a fluke that they won against PSG. But now they won back 2 back, those haters are gone forever, he proved them really wrong, they were always wrong about him, imagine the pain notail felt when they were beaten by TNC and after that loss, 3 of his team mates (Miracle,Moonmeander and Crit) left him leaving him with fly and after that comes the painful part wherein his "bestfriend" fly left him because he wasn't good enough and the bashes coming from the haters keep pouring in to him. But now, all of those are history, notail man, you are truly a inspiration to all of us, you taught us that we shouldn't give up on our dreams because it will come sooner or later and who knew, it will be given to us twice in a row
They have such good sportsmanship, even at the end OG felt bad for liquid because they know that feeling too well. (Except for topson of course, dude never lost)
