It's actually becoming more like a chess game. Where u both have reserved strategies and both players(teams in this case) know what another one can go for
All the teams in the TI, They've prepared before this. Record all the whole game of every team of the patch before TI. Then study their gameplay. especially for grand finals. The support team prepared anything, items, heroes, patterns, combos, etc. They even conduct a 'trial' fight againts other's team draft in their training sessions to knowing the outcome of the draft in advance. I think, all the teams that comes to the grandfinals are all coming prepared.

2021: I wanna start talking about PSG LGD, they're the favorites for the tournament. 2023: I wanna start talking about Team Spirit, they're the favorites for the tournament.
I love the fact that team spirit never downplayed anyone to motivate themselves, they give credit to LGD, they appreciate the tiny know it’s OP in the hands of PSG, also take inspiration from Matu’s TB build, that’s how you learn and that’s how you WIN
that was the deciding factor imo, massive respect. also psg didnt respect their opponent enough to pick magnus so those 2 decisions imo were the reason for game 5 result
@@vivekrocks000 i agree them picking tiny over magnus was a bad move, but it's really pushing it to call them not respecting team spirit bro lgd picked tiny + lycan because they are really strong using those 2 heroes, but Team spirit is simply stronger by winning the match, that's it
@@vivekrocks000 Nah. Nothing to do with respect. LGD picked their highest win rate combo heroes in Tiny and Lycan and sacrificed Magnus in return. It’s a good back and forth series regardless.
Well , im goin to miss TORONTOTOKYO after seein his departure from Team Spirit . Thanks for the all the happy memories man , you are one of the legends .
What I love most about Team Spirit is their positive attitude. Upper bracket round 1 game 3, team spirit were beaten by IG so hard as I watched: they hardly achieved anything in the whole game, their winrate was near zero, but when the game was almost over, yatoro performed a perfect bladefury+TP escape, and all the other four Spirit players tipped him right away. I saw their positive attitude as they would applaud themselves even if they were losing, I knew most people wouldn't , even most proffessional dota2 players. TI's worst-performed games always happen in the lower bracket, because the pressure of a whole year's work going to an unexpected finish is enormous, they could be afraid to lose their last chance, and they are still upset about how they lost the upper bracket position. But Team Spirit seemed 0% upset about losing their upper bracket, they won 5 BO3 straight into the grand finals, and when I watched TRUE SIGHT, I knew their PMA is so real. I watched it 5 days ago and I don't remember every detail but 41:17 "A snail walked into the bar", as when he went to the bathroom alone, collapse was thinking of jokes on the way to cheer up his teammates. What an optimistic team.
2 Things I’ve learn from this Truesight 2021: 1.) The more I watch Team Spirit, The more I love the Team 2.) The more I watch PSG.LGD, The more I love DotA
I think this is by far the most respected True Sight ever. Both team played full their heart out, nobody yell or angry at each other, truly getting and giving respect each other, no acting idiotic in front of camera. It's just pure and focus game. Respect for both, Team Spirit and PSG.LGD! GGWP!
@@Alleriadota totally agree, this true sight is full of respect and professional manner from both teams, making Dota 2 not just a game but a professional career like others, where patient, hard-working and dedicated people would be paid off for their work.
Everyone says how this true sight is so great because it brought respect to both teams…except the reason for this is probably because there were no crowds that people can pick on. 🙄🙄🙄
I like how Yatoro doesn't think too much about which hero to draft. He trusts his guts and works things out from there. Many types of geniuses in their respective fields have this kind of characteristic.
This is crazy to see how both teams were reading each others mind during the draft, specially on the last game, thinking about Oger in the same time, there are more than 120 heroes but it seems obvious for them. You really understand and feel here how a HUGE part of the game is played during drafting, so big thanks for showing it so well !

Props to the directors behind the scenes of this entire True Sight project understanding the maturity of the content and not censoring any of the swear words in the captions. It makes everything feel much more authentic, like we're being shown an honest depiction of what happened and not a sugar coated version watered down for general consumption. Well done. ❤️
@@pRaIKoN09 they were choosing between getting lycan or getting rubick, honestly i believe that he chose right the result doesnt matter, they already picked tiny at that point, they were betting on the fact that tiny lycan is better than that magnus plus they still have a solid although not as strong counter in skyrath, you gotta remember that LGD was the team that made tiny lycan meta, it was thier pick, if they were gonna win it was this comp but team spirit was just better
What i like i about this entire series is..in the last game TORONTOTOKYO forcing the idea of picking Magnus and giving LGD Tiny and Lycan. Mira said its risky but they go with it anyway. And the risk they take cost them winning TI10. This True Sight also show and prove that Team Spirit are not "fluke" TI champ. They have the idea, strat, what and how LGD were thinking based on the draft. What a beautiful journey the had. GG Team Spirit TI10 Champ.
@@mr.t5785 the fact that this dude sitting on his chair for 4 game on draft phase and start walking and get close to Miposhka on game 5 because he really wanted the Magnus.
@@ytgtohka239 kinda like miracle asking kuro to free the IO against OGin TI9 and then take the omni & chen instead. But this time TS succeeded with the risk, they were dead on the money. The idea of the draft was good and they even played better.
He calculated the risk very well. If you ban tiny PSG will auto pick magnus which is worse because Spirit dont find a way to counter that. If they pick Tiny they still have a chance to beat them props to Torontotokyo who think all those risk and reward. But man i want Ame to win so bad :(
Много раз прослезился за эти божественные 1.5 часа, а в конце с лиц Аме и НТС'а я вообще расплакался. Кста, вставки анимированной доты в ролик - имба, каждый из них вообще до мурашек...
This True Sight was a blessing for us dota fans. I'm not a LGD fan but I hope Ame will finally obtain his 1st aegis, This guy is been working so hard since past 5 years of being stuck at top 5.

@@Alleriadota u probably never played competetive games. cant people have fun? stop discriminating people just because they do other stuff than you or you like, thats not cool
@@Alleriadota On the top of that Team Spirit joking about their mistake and adapt another strategy not panicking just chilling their hearts out. Also them saying that Xiao8 will play at pango at Game 1 was kinda funny. While LGD is silent but deadly during their discussions, You can clearly see that Xiao8 is making them act professionals and respectable against their opponent. No disrespect just acceptance. No bullshit just composure. I think I like this roster LGD since it's more solid than the previous roster. Good to see them at TI11, Either way they will meet again soon.
He's the most consistent and reliable carry in the history of Dota in my opinion. He's like Messi or Ronaldo of Dota. World class player without world cup
What this True Sight lacked was energy and atmosphere, due to the absence of the crowd. But instead, for this true sight, we got super insightful drafting, team ideas, communication, and true reactions after losing. I really, really enjoyed the drafting sessions and I'm glad they focused on it quite a bit. It was awesome to someone like me who fully doesn't understand the impact and importance of each pick. Can't wait for True Sight for TI11 in 3 years!
How i wish my brother can watch this masterpiece, he is the first person introduce me to watch true sight and i always remember that he watch it more than 10 times. RIP bro we miss you.
This is probably the first TI where I equally rooted for both teams to win for both are very likeable and wholesome. There’s only one winner at the end but at least they were able to give the fans a great show 👍
The sportsmanship from both teams was actually pretty amazing to see. Always complementing each others plays, it was really nice change to remind us dota2 is a great game instead of a toxic one.
Am I the only one imagining their banters like anime where they counter each other without actually hearing or talking to one another. So amazing! They really worked hard to get here, and these simple things show it. Can't wait for the next TS11
Yeah, and on the second plan there is emty seats all around.... give extra sad emotions. Anyway would be nice to see these 2x team in some finals again :)
Didn't want to watch this True Sight because I know nobody would speak casually in English from both teams. Well, I didn't know that this one is gold. The roller-coaster of emotions is there. TS never fails, I guess.
I really respect the job Xiao8 did as a coach this day. With the team from TI8 and QQQ as coach, they definitely seemed less sympathetic with how flippant they were about OG’s tactics and how they were shown blaming each other for losing the games they did. But this iteration seems much more mature and Xiao8 was a really great motivator and leader. I definitely have more respect for LGD now than I used to.

The clash animations were sick! Game 1 18:59 - Tidehunter, Elder Titan uses ult on Disruptor, Ursa, IO Game 2 34:39 - Magnus blinks to skewer Nature's Prophet 36:17 - Puck dream coils Nature's Prophet, Magnus skewers to break the coil Game 3 50:24 - Tinker kills PA 53:17 - Rubick lifts Magnus after horn toss to cancel Game 4 1:07:47 - Bane grips Spectre, Undying goes in. Game 5 1:21:19 - Hero picks enter the game 1:28:59 - Team Spirit chases down Tiny 7:39 - Brewmaster casting primal split Felt bad for Ame :( hopes he gets that long awaited W this year.
Ahhhhh man I'd love to see Ame holding that Aegis one of these days; seen all these True Sights and their associated games over and over, but every time I hear XinQ say, "now you've become a God of Fireworks, too," it hits pretty hard. Great play, great individual standouts, as well as coaching - thanks True Sight!
That call from TORONTOTOKYO to exchange Tiny for Mag and then subsequently change yatoro’s pick of WK to TB is what made the final map. Many pros on the scene criticize him for lack of individual skills when it comes to micro, but when it comes to macro I think there is no doubt that he is one of the best
Had torontotokyo not give his input on the draft, i think the outcome of map 5 would be alot more different. He is definetly one of the game's top tacticians
@@albinpaul3429 just my opinion, team spirit doesnt have a way to counter their own strat which is magnus. Even they said its too powerful. The only way is you pick rubick and undying first like game 3 which they failed to do in game 5.
I think Spirit needs to give torontotokyo, mobile heros to win. in all the games they lost, he gets invo and templar and in the games they win, he has void spirit, puck and ember.
That's 1 thing I loved about this trusight compared to others. We really got to relive the drafts, which heros were contested, and also we got plenty of gameplay to remind us of how things went down. The one downside of this is that players who don't really know Dota are perhaps a bit more lost.
@@daraotl5187 Non pros like us can learn a lot with True Sight. From the drafting phase to gameplay and execution of heroes. I hope Valve continues to give us True Sight while Dota is still existing.
"What's up, Maga? XinQ destroyed you with his Rubick?" I love how Sanyu said this line so casually and the whole discussion after it. I really like how TS could discuss about how they did it wrong without being flamey or stressful. Just discussion and some light-hearted banters. And another line: "It's a best-of-five for a reason. And it isn't some losers we are playing against." Acknowledges a mistake without losing confidence, while respects the other team at the same time. Well said, Miposhka.
Hah, he's name is not Sanyu btw. Sanyu is a diminutive form of the name Alexander in the genitive case. It would be more correct to call him Sanya, Sasha, Alexander.
As the Russian person, i can say that u can't actually understand the real purposes of these phrases, correct translation is correct, but they aren't trying to discuss, they just say it, for no reason, to have some fun with his friends, it's hard to explain, but 80% of their phrases excluding moment after win, its just a ironic phrases that said just for fun, with no actual sense of purpose. Russian language, especially by young people among friends made from 80% humour and ironic things
Damn I am not LGD fan but this was heartbreaking. I have always seen them as the biggest villain, as the last boss of Dota2. But this True Sight showed me that they are fellas who just passionate about this game. And the most unexpected scene was how positive they were even when losing in Finals. Hopefully, they will no more be King without the throne in this year.
Its heart breaking to see psg LGD come so close and yet so far. They are the best in history but always comes up short in the end. Its really heart breaking.
What a genius decision from Torontotokyo. Despite the pressure of LGD's undefeatable tiny, he still suggests to let LGD pick tiny, and also choose TB instead of WK for the last pick. At that moment of the last game in ti, TS are already anxiety after the two dominating matches from LGD but with that calm mind from Torontotokyo, it leads TS to win the last game and ti champion. Therefore, Torontotokyo deserve a MVP for last game.
@@johnjosephmacalintal1970 bro lgd laughed it off and you can't take that simple response? These guys are competitive as fuck even their battle cries they feel like theirs are better than the other. What a snowflake kekw

Trivia - y` said “Gg my brothers.” and Faith_bian said “They were the better team.” Both were in Wings gaming, The international 2016 champs. On another note, Nothingtosay, y` and Coach xiao8 are still in Lgd. I can imagine them hungry for The international 2023 championship.

1:31:20 "I was so farmed" The way he said that. Man, I really wish Ame will finally win that Aegis. He has been doing the best he can but always fell short. That was pain
from the whole vid above, i can really tell that ame is not so confident in his decisions. he was constantly asking his teammates opinions. i think as a carry yatoro is better since he did a couple great call decisions by himself

@@unholydonuts they were very confident on their Tiny strat, of course they would go for that. However, seemed that LGD didn’t notice how Spirit countered the lineup perfectly in the Secret series.
Considering LGD watched Team Spirit and Secret matches earlier that day, LGD should not have taken the bait, but you're right, almost noone would resist their comfort, 100% winrate pick.
That flavor of Team PSG.LGD is so very sick..because Every minutes of the game is constantly changing a every Rounds of the game PSG.LGD is showing about Chinese traditions THIS COACH IS VERY AWESOME CHEERS
People playing in TI are so passionate in the game. They really care to win. The gap between prizes are not so much but the gap between 1st and 2nd are like heaven and hell
Props to Xiao8 for being such a supportive coach like I would be totally demoralized if my team lost 2 games in a row I guess they kinda learned from Ceb and Notail on how to motivate their players
说的是“喝口水” ,你也能看到他放下了一个疑似水杯的东西,中文版里翻译的是“恭喜雪碧”,疑似误听。He said "drinking water". You can also see that he put down what looks like a water glass. The translation in the Chinese version is "Congratulations to Spirit". It seems to misheard.
I love how Torontotokyo believed to let them have tiny as Team spirit was the only team who did well against tiny and he knew it doesn't matter how strong LGD's tiny is. Lesson learned - Always belief in your abilities rather than just trying to focus too much on the enemy.
Draft is the key.In game final, LGD would make a difference of they pick Treat to prevent TB and Ember. Treat could even help the one under Bane's ulti, but they picked an useless enchantress.
The way that torontotokyo insisted on not banning the Tiny is what really stood out to myself. I think the decision not to ban Tiny was the key element to TS’s victory. What a great TI.
Knowingly or not, he just secured the win there, making LGD decide to choose their comfort Tiny-Lycan pick instead of Magnus. It's even more impressive when we can tell how scared Team Spirit was of LGD's Tiny.
They just know the fact that LGD never lose a single game with tiny. So its a respect by TS. And toronto is the real mvp in game 5. His way of thinking was so make sense even its really risky. If LGD pick magnus it will be game over to TS, because they didnt have alternative as strong as magnus pick. What a final
@@systemofastan I don't know, they did argue about Torontotokyo's call for a bit, and Mira sounds extra worried about Tiny until Silent convinced Miposhka. It's definitely on their mind.
