By the way, the probability of that door holdup happening 7 times was .78125 % or a 1 in 12,800 chance. Dudy Dude and Araceli had the opposite of dream luck.
17:10 I did the math myself, it’s a 0.8% chance to fail the 1st challenge 7 times in a row. Just another example of Poofesure’s terrible luck in Wii Party.
@dylanrains5838 You have a 50% chance on attempt one You have a 50% chance on attempt two You have a 50% chance on attempt three You have a 50% chance on attempt four You have a 50% chance on attempt five You have a 50% chance on attempt six You have a 50% chance on attempt seven. That's 7 50% chances in a row. .5 x .5 x .5 x .5 x .5 x .5 x .5 Or .5^7 = .0078125, or .78% with rounding. It's just like flipping a coin and having every single attempt be Heads. .78% Where are you getting another 0.5?
3:26 "What happens if i liand on a 1v3 space, or did they get rid of 1v3 spaces and replace them with 1v1 spaces" 5 seconds earlier *Lands on a 1v1 space*
20:25 NOW you realize how broken a Master CPU can be. Nilly896 tried to beat it too, and he couldn’t do that. Keep in mind Nilly896 is the only person in the world who basically has every amazing feat.
20:30 This minigame is absolute fucking bullshit in master difficulty; the average person has a 250 millisecond (0.5s) reaction time, Wii Party U runs at 60fps, and by dissecting the video frame by frame, you can see that Araceli ALWAYS jumps into the seat 10 FRAMES after the music stops, which is roughly 166.6 milliseconds, so unless you're a superhuman saint with insane reaction times, it is impossible for you to win without pressing the button prematurely.
And thats ignoring the imput lag with the wireless wii remote and the 60hz refresh rate which probably adds another like 20ms. I get 150ms on a good day on my 240hz screen with a desktop mouse fully focused. Theres no way anyone could do that on a janky wii remote
I love Wii Party U, but sometimes I question what the programmers were thinking for some of the minigames. Sitting Pretty is definitely impossible vs. 1 Master CPU, it’s like you need frame-perfect reaction timing to ever have a shot of winning. Really curious to see TAS gameplay of this minigame.
The musical chairs game-its how its played. Music plays, walk around. Music stops, sit down. Simple concept, dont need to change the rules for any single person
