That'd be a cool idea, especially if you could choose your character. It could be set up in a way where you scavenge for loot during the day and defend yourself at night (Although that's pretty much the same formula for every survival/Base building game these days).
Another map could be playing as Ish in the sewers. It would play differently because of the way the sewers are layed out. And you would have less supplies thus would have to stealth more
Ish died didn't he? There was a girls drawing in the sewer nursery with a pic of ish and another guy, with military gear on. And there is a room you can go to in the sewers showing 2 clickers with military gear? So ish must have been there pretty early in the apocalypse.
I think it would be cool playing as someone from the university. There was a snipers diary explaining how they kept the university safe from zombies and the supplies that were brought in.
Yes but up until you said that David could kill Ellie in that way, no one who hasn't played the game before would've known that David could execute Ellie like that later on in the winter chapter. For all anyone knows if they're playing the story for the first time, David simply uses that execution on other enemy AIs. It's a cool reference but not really a spoiler is all I'm sayin'.

@BiRTH Ellen didn't sue Naughty Dog she even stated herself in a tweet she is excited to play The Last of Us, check out the real tweets between Naughty Dog and Ellen. Naughty Dog said the media made the issue out of proportion and made it a much bigger deal than it was. In the same tween Ellen responded and said she agreed and that she is exited for The Last Of Us. Don't trust the media these days, because their job is not to report news anymore but to create drama spread lies. But yes, she was upset in the beginning but she doesn't hold any grudge over Naughty Dog and they cleared things out without the need of a court or anything like that. Anyway I like the final model of Ellie more than the original one so I am glad they change it
I find it kind of hilarious that a clicker is using a gun like an intelligent being. Like, imagine in The Last of Us 2, you just have clickers start shooting at you, and they reload as they run towards your direction.
That would be a human with a clicker body since the infected still have humanity, like the person is spectating how they are eating people without being able to control themselves, until the clicker infection stage kicks in, after that the person is fully gone I believe.
All the characters that are playable are ones that join you in fighting during action sequences. So it really makes lots of sense they'd have all of these animations and sound effects attached to them.

Listen to the enemies when he's playing as Sarah. One of them says "Did you see that?" That, combined with Sarah's bodily distortion, gravity defying flight, and inhumanly still t-pose makes it seem like that guy saw what we were seeing.
What would’ve been a cool gamemode (and should always have been in a game like this) is a co-op horde mode against infected or hunters where you can pick story characters and their skins and maybe they could have voice lines bantering with each other between waves. One can always dream something similar gets released at some point for tlou2
as always great work man, just when I think you've uncovered all there is about this game you uncover something else. truly impressed, love watching your videos. I think naughty dog should recognize you for all the attention your bringing to their game, maybe give you the first copy of part 2 when it's released.
i enjoyed this breakdown. definitely gives some insight. makes me feel you were originally supposed to have Ellie coherent during the end game. And to answer the clicker question im assuming its just using the hunter's lower half with a segmented rig.
Bill! Arguably in the top 2 best characters of TLOU. Definitely has a history with Joel and Tessa and I’m curious to know more! His survival skills are just as good as Joel’s. I don’t know if I want him in TLOU Part 2. He should leave his impact on us and leave it at that. Keep his story a mystery for speculating.
This could add a whole nw perspective to the game now that you can change both Ellie and Joel. You should change them both into those black brothers you hang out with in the story.
