I recently picked up a deck of cards to learn how to do readings. I quickly became very frustrated with trying to find the meanings of each card. Ive been through google and youtube, not everyone has the same meaning/interpretation. I'm glad i can just pick one I like and stick with it.
My Eastern European grandmother read cards for herself and for friends and neighbors - actually I thought she was a "White Witch". My mother would not have dreamt of starting her day without consulting the cards. I am old like my grandmother now, and I am intrigued by cards myself. I still have my grandmother's deck of French playing cards, with "her magic" in them. Much of your card interpretations are the same as my grandmother's, I find that fascinating. I wish you would make more "how to" videos following up on interpretation and reading cards in conjunction. Thank you for the 2 videos you did publish.
If you go to his RU-vid video on cartomancy there is a way to print the transcript 😮😅. This is 5/31/23 and his video is still awesome ❤ I saved myself time and headache cause he talks so fast, reading transcript is more easier. Hope this helps after 3 years.
Your introduction and review of ‘The Deck of Fortune’ is what brought me here, I’m not into doing ‘readings’ but the additional knowledge and history of playing cards is really useful…and I reckon having a non gimmick ‘workable/examinable’ Cartomancy deck would help bolster effects like the one created in ‘The Deck of Fortune’…Great presentation and loadsa useful info in this material David…Thanks for creating it..!😇
im a tarot reader and why im here is to be able to really learn the playing card cartomancy, i seriously find it cool. having it no pictures are the most awesome its like you are reading cards with mostly dont understand by many. second it gives me grounded answers without a doubt but i dont know what meanings should i learn i tried but it is not what happened. some people interpret my cards for me and what they said is what really happened
I have been. Learning the tarot cards and just started learning about cartomancy and the playing cards to me have been easier and more accurate and to the point , with tarot everyone has their own interpretation of each tarot card but the playing cards are more to the point , so I am enjoying doing the playing card readings 😁✌👍
So glad you made this video! I have been forcing myself to learn Tarot but it doesn’t resonate at all. But I have always loved and been around playing cards all my life. And glad you said to pick one set of meanings because I already know the meanings for myself due to studying numerology and now the suits from tarot! Looking forward to do some readings for friends and myself!
I would like thank you very much for your videos. Card readers made my life so much bearable when I was depressed. I want to give back and helped women who have no one to talked to or can't afford phycologist:). Your meaning is the same as I learned before but your video motivated me to focus. Thank you again.
Had to go to 1st vid 1st! lol Love it bro! Thank you for doing this. I have always been super curious and want to know EVERYTHING about Playing Cards. Thanks again Bro!

I have been trying to break down the suits and numbers into easy-to-digest bits, as you seem to have done here (heats being emotion, ace being the beginning or the end)... However, I will go back and check the themes of the numbers, but could you gove a quick rundown of the meanings by numerical value?
Thank you so much, my late mother was into Cartomancy, when I was young I bought tarot cards and she took it away from me. I understand now, I am closer to Cartomancy than any other tools.
@@Littlemissdirtbag may late mother does not use tarot cards. I'm not sure what she did with them, I'll try to remember to ask her next time she visits me.
@@localh you said your mother was into cartomancy. That is a form of fortune telling AKA divination. Tarot is also a form of fortune telling AKA divination. My question was why was it okay for your mom to fiddle around with divination but you couldn't? The only difference is the way the cards are formatted. But either way they are both for guidance. It just sounded a little hypocritical.
Thanks for this second video. I only became interested in reading playing cards recently and this was very helpful. (P.S. I bought the Bicycle Alchemy 1977 England deck specifically for this purpose).
Playing cards have a totally different origin than Tara reading cards. Witchcraft and sorcery is part of a history of trade from Egypt. Playing cards coming from China and dealing only with the era of kings or kingdoms rules. The ace came into view when people were tired of kings and kingdom rulership.
I'm a Christian and I decided to learn about my habit of enjoying a card trick for fun. I don't play card games 😭 with others nor do I gamble. I even tell the spectators how I do the trick and I don't identify myself as a magician. Thanks.
I found your comment quite interesting, I’m not a trickster or religious person, I use objects as ‘props’ to help attract someone’s attention and start conversations and some of the ‘props’ have the added bonus of being able to demonstrate a Mentalism Manipulation or magic effect, I often encounter people with difficulties and struggles (Troubled Souls) and I think the investment I make In financial terms and effort to help distract someone even for just a moment is worthwhile…both my parents were religious and practiced Christian values, I believe that there is more going on in this world than we presently understand or are able to comfortably accept…sometimes not knowing might be best, I don’t condemn non believers, they just haven’t had their moment yet..!😇
wouldn't it be easier to correlate the suits with tarot suits? like hearts is cups or water (emotions like you said), clubs are wands or fire, diamonds are swords or air , and spades- earth or pentacles (money, earthly things, physical world......? I just realized i had it wrong..... it's the spades that are swords/air and the diamonds are pentacles/earth (I guess cause they come from the Earth).
Hi! My name is hubert and i'm interested the way you tell all the information about cartomancy, but can we see the way you do it, to read peoples fortune or their futures?
I'm not sure if you will ever read this but must try. Haven't done cartomancy before but yes to tarot (yrs ago). Bought a new deck. While watching a movie tonight shuffled the deck and then intentionally forced cards opposite direction as it felt I should. After 45 minutes looked at the deck and EVERY single card was in the upright position. This cannot be?! How? Wasn't paying attention, just wanted to get feel of cards. Has this happened to anyone else?
So learn the meanings and then if they are relevant in the situation than you imply them, if not you just follow the method shown here. Got it! Thank you!
What's your take on reading for yourself? I've been reading tarot for a while and some people say "don't read for yourself." It seems when I hire a tarot reader they're way off the mark and quite horrible....
ThePUMPKIN2113 Reading for myself is just as clear as when others do it for me. I know you didn't ask my opinion, but I'd say for it and see how it fares for you.
depends on who you ask with both cartomancy and tarot i personally think you should read your own cause you can connect better with the cards and get a more accurate reading
Hiyya, i loved the video! I was just curious about how in the reading you started saying things about how the ace means the beginning or the end of something, 10 means success and jack can represent a family member. If i wanted to just read off of the suit and numeric what would the other numerics represent?
Hi I've just subscribed to u as I've always been curious of reading cards.i drew 3 following what you said my cards are q.diamond ,king spade .and king clubs.help me out what's it mean.just joined.
there is a lot of DIY yourself work. Nothing too crazy but may require a trip to a couple stores. Basically, the deck and principle are still the same as in the previous version, so if you know the instructions and own the deck you know the method. it's not very usable in real life situation (even though it's possible). it's more something for the camera. the required sleights are not very difficult, although it takes some practice to make it smooth and not give away the secret.
The package is quite nice, just the kind of quality that you expect from theory11. The ungimmicked ring is black and shiny it is definitely high-quality and just beautiful The gimmicked ring is also high quality. Is it hard? No, not at all. You will most likely be able to do a lot of the moves almost straight out of the box. It still takes some time to make it smooth. You also have to watch your angles. But as I said, not hard at all. In addition to this: The ring also needs to fit loose on your thumb. Keep that in mind! Measure your index, middle, and ring finger of your dominant hand. Whichever has the largest ring size, go with that size. Ring trick of the year.
There are a few components to getting a accurate numerology readings. One resource I found that succeeds in merging these is the Stefs Magic Numbers (check it out on google) without a doubt the most helpful plan i've heard of. Check out all the incredible information .
Excellent videos! Helped clarify a few things I had been wondering about cartomancy. Also, I would very much like to know what the name/brand of that awesome Egyptian deck is you showed at 3:49. I've poked around on rareplayingcards, amazon and ebay but I've had no luck finding it.
I CAN SHOW YOU.....DO you have friends? ALOT RIGHT ? ok..1 2 3 4 CARD figure MANY SWORD...I see betrayal..OH thats tarot card..DECK OF CARD is NUMBERS...J K Q A
Hello you said in your Video to pick a list of meanings for the cards. And in your previous video you had a meaning for each card including the names for each court card. Where did you read the info. I would love to have a printout or link to reference
Don't forget, you can play with playing cards in church no one would know!!!!! Playing cards are cheap, you can get free cards from casinos, dollar store, grams or gramps house.....it would be easy to make your own design since it's numbers and colors 😉
What are the red queens when I live in an olive skin country that everyone has dark hair and eyes! Even in China! Especially at that time there were no blond over there! WHO ARE THE BLONDIES??? 🤪
Or they could be like economic class. Diamonds, higher class, hearts middle class, and clubs are working class, spades could be the people that society turns its nose at, lumping poor people, criminals, and counterculture types sort of together.
