(read the following with a deep voice 💀😭) it is day 300 apex is still playing chess, playing great moves (aslo blunders) , he has reached 5k subs and reaches 2000 rating in the day 300 vid and he has also completed his plumbing degree (he is majoring in plumbing for those who dont know)life is complete……NOW he can finallly rest.. this comment took time so pretend its funny🗿
I read a great article about plateau, and it was an inspiration. Plateau is actually a great thing because it means we are playing consistent at a level. This is the needed step BEFORE improving. First, we reach a level, then we stay there, and after getting confy for some time, we move up.
Wow this makes a lot of sense. And it's funny because whenever I've made progress in chess, it's always in a burst after a plateau and you just explained it perfectly 🤣
@@PerfectAimPoseidon if you don't have the extra money then I wouldn't do it but if you have extra money and want that extra help to learn a new opening then imo it's worth it. You can learn openings yourself pretty easily by using the engine but it's very helpful and convenient to have someone else do that and also explain the plans/ideas
@@ApexChesss For sure, that is definitely the main appeal for me. You can absolutely self teach yourself chess, especially with all of the youtube videos we have nowadays. But I'd shell out some money for some direction from someone that knows what they are doing. Thanks that is helpful, I'll probably wait for a sale and pick one up to try it out.
