Man..I’ve said it before and will continue to say it, you make the videos that not just fans but musicians want to see. The angles of the playthroughs, discussing the elements of the show, showing love to the crew who bring it all together. You’re a hell of a humble dude, love seeing how happy and genuine you are. Hoping to see ya in Detroit if they let us in by then, driving down from Toronto would definitely be worth it to see you and the boys in Detroit rock city

It’s surreal. You get flashbacks to being a kid learning their riffs in your bedroom after school. The feeling of sharing a stage with them now at a big festival is indescribable.

I've only watched 23 second and Wolfgang Van Halen is playing before you guys and Metallica after?!?! THATS CRAZY AWESOME!! And question; do you get nervous before shows, if so how do you deal? ROCK IS NOT DEAD😁🤘🖤

It was a great lineup! Honored to have been included. I luckily don’t get nervous before shows. The trick is to be ULTRA prepared. You need to run the music over and over again during practice to the point where it commits to muscle memory and you don’t have to think about it anymore. That will free up your mind to focus on the fun of performing, and less on the technical aspects of playing the songs. It takes time, but that’s my advice! Being nervous is simply to be afraid of messing up. If you’re super prepared, you’ll lessen the chances of that happening.

I have recently started playing shows, not many so far but I seriously love just being on stage, I'm actually the youngest in my group but lead guitar and vocals, but there are a few sond thatvi could play in my sleep beacsue I practice soo much and it feels so good to be prepared. Just after that I'm gonna practice until I get my songs perfect! Thx again for the great advice!😁

I was at this festival, and the thing about Aftershock, it's in Sacramento, aka the City of Trees, so there's trees everywhere, that provide tons of shade. And it's on grass rather than pavement, so the heat doesn't radiate off the ground. And Discovery Park, where Aftershock is held, is right where the American River and Sacramento River meet, so it cools down a lot come nightfall. Idk how far you are from Sacramento, but if you're in reasonable distance, I highly recommend going. If you're not at all near Sacramento (or Northern California in general), I recommend going to whatever big festival is closest to you (except there were people there that came all the way from Russia, and some from Ireland, so do what you want). They usually last a couple days, and you'll be tired as hell after, but you'll see many cool bands, and you won't regret it. Aftershock lasted for 4 days, and I went to all 4, and it definitely felt like my legs were going to snap off, but I wasn't about to miss BVB or Metallica over it lol

That Go Pro while playing was so cool Lonny! I loved being able to see what the strings were doing and you playing so close up. Thanks for showing the cool spin it did when it came flying off too. Thats really awesome Andy gave you a Kirk pick! I adore the black album. I actually got to meet Jason Newsted in like '95. i know hes not with them now but hey super cool bassist just like you!... i still have two signatures of his and the memory of him shaking my hand and calling me sweetie. I was in middle school when i met him. I was picked from the line to hand out Metallica Club fliers while Korn opened. He was the only one that came out afterwards for our 'meeting the band' reward for helping out.
