Playing Forza Horizon with a Modified RC Controller 

I modified this RC remote to work as a controller for Forza Horizon 4!
The base is a "grip-style" DUMBORC X4 RC controller. I disassembled the wireless receiver and attached it directly to a USB-enabled microcontroller that emulates an Xbox 360 gamepad. When the player adjusts the remote's controls, the resulting PWM motor signals from the receiver are decoded by the microcontroller and translated into inputs for the game.
To make it more usable, I also added two extra buttons to the top of the remote and swapped out the grip PCB to change the toggle button to a momentary one. Everything is plug and play, with no extra software or configuration required on the PC.
