I think you could’ve bet small for value on the flop with the Jigitties and set yourself up for a jam on the turn or river, I right away did it with a very similar hand also with pocket Jacks and my opponent hanged himself by raising on the flop, the thing is that you would have bluffs with Ace High in your range at that spot in position and you want to deny equity winning it right away while you still have outs, I boated up on the river and bet for value and I got raised all in on the river, I snapped and he lost it and played tilted all night after that hand.
Thanks for the feedback, as mentioned in the vlog it could have gone both ways and I 100% agree, small bet most of the time/ check sometimes. Staying balanced is key.
What state are you guys in? Im in sw VA and got a group of 3 or 4 who would play with y’all if not too far away. We usually play 1/2 but any stakes is fun with us.
For PLO Dueces wild, what happens if you happen to get dealt two 2s and there’s a 2 on the flop, where someone else has KK here? You both have “Quads” is it a chop?
If you're dealt two 2's worst case scenario you're chopping the pot. When a two comes on the flop, and you have 22 it is essentially dictated by the other cards on the flop.
Definitely not a special/luxury poker table, but still probably at least a $500 table. If you guys can afford that to play with, step up the production value a little more with at least a decent set of KEMs, Copags or Faded Spades. Also recommend Paulson or Milano for the chips, however from what I’ve heard, Paulson has stopped selling to anyone but casinos as their prices have skyrocketed, but Paulson’s are still the gold standard and are probably a little extravagant for a micro stakes home game.
