If someone goes out of there way to counter my Slifer sky dragon deck by stopping the divine attribute I'm throwing hands cause that's some f#ck this man in particular sh#t
@@dandrecollier800 going by loose top of head estimations. a lot of recent stuff needs to be hit, hand trap wise, generic extra deck wise and indivitial deck hits to brin them down to the power level needed.
Doesn’t prevent you from using : - Dark so you can play it in Lab - Fire so you can play it in *sigh* Snake-Eyes Fire Kings after Apo gets banned - Water so you can play it in Paleo!… and Marincess I guess. Special mention to Salamangreat who can counter Nibiru turn one with this card as long as they summon Weasel before the 6th summon. Amazing card with that you can just… still play going first? Cause nowhere the card says you cannot activate it if you control cards. Also, sure you cannot beat Nib (outside of Salad) but it’s nice to remember that Nib was supposed to be a card printed to fight degeneracy…
@@otsman5614 I legit forgot Fuwaross was wind and thought it was water like Purulia. That being said, I am sure people will do the compromise depending on the format
@@KeertikaAndFallenTree there's 2 versions of salad, the pure fire version and the debug version that doesn't play sald of fire. Debug version is the most played one and with the better end board (and it already plays around nib)
I like the Dominus cards. They have an actual limitation on what deck can use them so you don't have to see the same ht lineup in all top decks. Wish there were more like them
Light wind and earth cant be used so it works in any deck that doesnt have any of these attributes but the sacrifice is kinda ig we cant access the other arsenal so i think there will be another card that will make up for this drawdown
I think this is Konami’s attempt at creating handtraps that are (1) (over-)balanced and (2) are better against crossout, in the sense that people are less likely to side a card for crossout that shuts off their entire engine.
Lab can easily make this work, with potentially no extra deck hits depending on what they choose to run. If nothing else, it certainly shouldn't affect what they typically choose to summon from there.
The good thing about both Dominus cards is there's absolutely no drawback if played like a normal Trap. Cards for the side? 6 Ash or siding in zero cost spell speed 2 Solemn Strike isn't bad if you know you're going first against a deck that's weak to those chokes
They also lose hard to this trap funny enough. It’s practically another Ash Bloss on Domain/Frenzy with less counterplay since it’s a normal trap negate instead of monster effect. Worst part is Intact and Strike doesn’t do ANYTHING on that trap. They would have to out with Sonic (most are on 1 or 0 of them), Solemn Judgements (lot don’t run at all) or Iron Thunder (what is most used, but that means you have to open it.)
@@JohnnyMacs19 where this theory even come from? if konami seriously wanna make divine type / attribute after the egyptian god to be a thing, the sacred beast, the aesir, the timelord and crimson dragon would be made as one long time ago
I mean yeah and it’s good that it’s a normal trap and not a monster (so can’t die from TTT from it), but lot of decks fall into that attribute hole even if the archetype they are on works, the generics in their ED might not
Well, any deck can play Solemn Warning. Also solemn warning destroys the cards, can stop inherit summons, and yo'ure not locked out of using a bunch of handtraps and stuff in the extra deck
I don’t know. This card seems insane. You can deny Snake Ash, Fiendsmiths, Voiceless, Branded Fusion, etc turn 1 without ever committing to a monster effect this playing around Talent, Apo, Called By, Gamma and such. And you get a bonus effect in trap decks OR if you used Imperm previously this turn. It would have been stupid to not have a big restriction on this
Card is way worse then the other one and even then it’s mostly not worth running either unless you are on that rare deck where those attribute locks don’t effect you.
