0:00 Slayer - Raining Blood 0:33 Cannibal Corpse - Hammer Smashed Face (also with a Triangle) 1:54 Rammstein - Du Hast 2:36 System Of A Down - Chop Suey! (a song about noodles lmfao) 3:59 Megadeth - Holy Wars 4:46 DragonForce - Fury Of The Storm (btw just realized DragonForce also commented) 5:39 Dream Theater - Glass Prison 6:29 Kars4Kids - 1-8-7-7 Kar4Kids (that’s fake with a K!) 6:56 Korn - Right Now 8:22 Metallica - Master Of Puppets 9:08 Slipknot - Psychosocial
bruh Chop Suey! is not about noodles, the title of the song isn't even mentioned in the lyrics it's about drug addiction and suicide, the original name was "Suicide" but the radio wouldn't play it so they chose "chop suey" (self-righteous suicide = self-right-chop-suey-cide) even the song Chic 'N' Stu with lines such as "what a splendid pie, pizza pizza pie" and "Pepperoni and green peppers, mushrooms, olive, chives" has a serious anti-consumerist and anti-capitalist message they have some joke songs too like "Bounce" for example
It's funny because a lot of people don't really care for metal music, but the minute they see someone playing some metal riffs, they almost always appreciate the skill. 😂
As a metal guitarist growing up in the south (USA) hearing bluegrass I never appreciated it til I became a musician. I got a banjo even if 🤣 It's a pos pawn shop buy but oh well an only 4 of 5 strings work an it stays tuned less than an hour with those 4 strings...
I was always into metal growing up. Then I started to actually play music and everything is amazing. Oddly enough my favorite genre is Punk Rock, like actual punk with no talent and bad vocals. I don't know why, but the lyrics are always bad ass. I still enjoy metal to a degree, but modern metal is really hard to get into. 80 Heavy Metal and Thrash, I'm down for. But when it comes to modern stuff the lyrics have to be there for it. 90% or the vocals I can understand. But they need the combination of heavy and good lyrics for me to be into it. The whole being heavy for the sake of being heavy just doesn't make sense to me. Parkway Drive, Whitechapel, I can get behind. But other stuff, it doesn't sound good, and if it's not for comedic purposes I don't get it.
I’m from Austria, and I died of laughter when he sang ,, Du Hast ‘’ from Rammstein. Tbh his pronouncing was pretty good tho, but his facial expression killed me😂
First time seeing this guy and love the fact that he's got some Dream Theater in there. That is just awesome. Love seeing him expose people to the metal scene. 🤘🤘
@@cfishernb Dude as a follower of both since their first years on RU-vid, I think Stevie T is the best guitarist on RU-vid. I'd surely put TheDoo in second place tho.
I started laughing uncontrollably when they ask Steve about triangle, they dont know that Steve put melody with Triangle in one of dragonforce cover back then...
An immutable fact: You get a better reaction from announcing a pop tune and giving them metal than you do if you tell them you're gonna play South of Heaven by Slayer and then give them Muskrat Love by Captain & Tenille...
“You can’t kill the metal, metal will live on!” Love it man, been a metal head since 12 years old, 35 years later I’m still a metal head. I’m proud of this younger generation for still knowing good music.
If I was a parent, I would be scared hearing my daughter in her room talking to a random stranger, but then I would see that it's Steve and tell him to scare the crap out of her with a Cannibal Corpse song.
As a fellow metalhead I loved this so much. Their reactions were priceless! 😂 The second guy was into it, though!! I think he probably became a metalhead that day. Haha. And props for busting out "Du Hast" and "Chop Suey"! I thoroughly enjoyed that. 🤘
As a metalhead, I would appreciate this video as well.. Haha! The second guy DID say he was disappointed at the end though. Actually, that guy turned out to be an INCREDIBLE pianist! I ran into him again on Omegle, and he played piano for me!
Please more OMEGLE videos they’re so great. It’s so funny how Stevie T acts like he’s super socially anxious yet he is a master at talking to strangers. These videos seem like they will be successful if there’s a series of these.
@@RizzrakTV He did, and hand on heart he has never played that well before. And that’s not putting the T down at all. I honestly think he outplayed Herman. He really can improvise really well. Oh and I think Herman has created a monster. The Steve is going to end up playing the Super Bowl at this rate.
How did I know you were going to make a video of you going on Omegle?! 🤣 This was SO much fun! Those girls that thought you were gonna bring out the triangle, it seemed like they didn't even know who you were but it's like they KNEW! 😆 And that chick that was like "this guy actually seems like he's sane" and then you start blasting Psychosocial. 🤣🤣🤣 Omg so I have a little story to tell you, Steve! Back in like 2010, me and an old friend of mine went on Omegle and we actually got the freaking Jonas Brothers! 😆 Out of ALL the people that get on Omegle a DAY and we just happened to get the Jonas Bros! I was honestly never a huge fan of them but my friend kind of was, although she was mostly into metalcore while I was more into 90s grunge/alt. and classic 80s metal, but my friend had a pretty big crush on Joe and she FREAKED. Haha! I still thought it was pretty cool that we got to chat with them for a bit, even though I wasn't much of a fan.
That was weird eh!!!? Everyone was saying stuff that was 100% relatable to what I do!! Like, no one just brings up the triangle out of nowhere!! It was some kind of omen!! That was an amazing story! Wtf were the Jonas Brothers doing on there? Hopefully not what MOST guys are doing on there 🤮 But I honestly didn't know Omegle has been around that long!!
@@SteveTerreberry Yep, it was launched in 2009! And I'm guessing the Jonas Brothers just wanted to try it out and chat with some fans. That was probably the only time they got on there tbh. They were most likely disturbed by some of the things they saw that day. 😆 It used to be soo much worse back when it was still new.
@@_emilyelizabeth_ It was launched a lot further back than that (though this was the text version). The only time went on it, out of curiosity, was in about 2004. Ended up practicing my lousy Swedish chatting to a 13 year old girl in Sweden about Swedish pop music. I remember telling her to be very careful about using it as there were probably some real weirdos about.
@@pochakajeoi8943 depends on how they are made. They either get tuned by the bridge, or they have set screws on the back of the neck. Nowadays it's probably by the bridge.
My question is how did he make his channel in the first place. I have social anxiety and my dream is to be a RU-vidr, there’s no way I could have Stevie’s confidence when making videos
i literally started crying laughing at this! totally awesome! i wish i had some metalhead friends to share this to but sadly i am the only person in my class who can appreciate metal. my favourite part of this was when you started playing master of puppets since its my favourite song and it was just really funny too.
@@dermilfschreck Song by Rammstein in the middle of the video. "DU HAST". I listened to this part a few times. Amazing skills. And I'm from Germany, too ^^
Stevie has gotten so much better at alternating picking even since I first subscribed. Dude is getting to be insanely good at the guitar. I mean he already was, but he is reaching that next level these days.
@@uuddlrlrabsmhm8430 Why is it so surprising? That I like rock and metal. I was literally wearing a Black Sabbath tshirt in the first Avengers movie. And AC/DC’s Back In Black was the first song in my first movie. Idk why it’s so surprising.
