@@contrabandgo well playing endgame in the opening is normal among kyu's on every server, but play this excessive, i rarely encounter possible they were tilted by the misclick 3-3 at the start

@@sebastienmasclet2854 Every server has a certain style. Not everyone plays that style but its the most common. I like to find what that style is so I can have some expectation when I play on a server. Being surprised leads to mistakes.

Yeah. Hopefully, as I get used to the style I can show you how to punish these types of moves and players in easy ways. And for sure it would be fun to play sometime.

No opponent can take away your joy of the game. Only you can do that to yourself. Play your best game, win or lose. No one is entitled to any win other than the ones they actually get. Once you remove the "should have won" and "opponent stole this from me" ideas, you can enjoy the game more.

@@helxis In the end it's not even about winning or losing, but about what kind of game you enjoy playing. I tend to not like endless cutting and fighting and some people like it. And that is very fine. I enjoy most of the games I play, wins and losses, because they are exchanges of ideas and possible moves - akin to a conversation over the board. But some ways of speaking are very crude and not elegant in any way or form (in my opinion)

@@magnusrishj5272 I cannot tell anyone what to enjoy or not. But, I do think there is value in finding joy in every kind of "conversation" that one can have in this game. Welcome the challenge of the overaggressive player. It is an opportunity to practice strategy against such things. When you can consistently defeat them, you have become stronger.

To be honest, I did not even think about a ladder lol. Seems I struggled with ladders in this game. A ladder would have made the game much simpler. I don't think a ladder breaker vs a 4-4 stone can do any damage.

Just depends on if I can do it in a more educational way that is repeatable so its easier for you guys to try it and learn from it.

oh! I did miss the ladder. It is probably good, because I don't think a ladder breaker would matter here.

I plan to do a rank up series for every server. kgs will probably be next.

Yeah it’s very hard to learn how to punish them. Tsumego and experience are the best ways to improve at it.

@@contrabandgo exactly, even here the M16 group was barely one liberty ahead. It takes a lot of skills to handle such players.

I streamed on twitch as catsplaygo with triton about 4 years ago. And we both split and do our own thing now. He is tritonbaduk on RU-vid. i wanted a less boring name lol so I put cat and my name Brandon together and you get contraband and then Go instead of Baduk

Yeah he did not defend very much. I don't feel like I tried to kill him. Was just trying to stay connected and have my own groups live. lol
