To be in highschool and not born in 2001 :( so nice to hear you coming back to this masterpiece after a long time! My older brother has all the Silent Hill cds that he got for like 20 dollars back then and now they’re all 300 dollars, crazy stuff! The remake this year is going to be AMAZING SO EXCITING!!!!

@@deebo444when I played it originally, I was young and didn’t really understand the story of this game. Now as an adult, it hits different. Especially in terms of grief, loss, guilt, loneliness, depression etc I didn’t realize that back then because I was young and hadn’t really experienced any of that. Now that I’m older this game feels so different. I repurchased all of these games on PS2. All of the OG SH games with exception of the first one on PS1 which I was in the 8th grade when I played it in 1999 LOL I’m getting old. Now that kid in me is excited for the modern day version of Silent Hill 2 on PS5

@@BlueCollar850 I completely agree with you! SH2 hits so differently now, such sensitive topics that require a mature mind! Crazy how the graphics 20 years ago is the only thing that is different in our society, the concepts of depression, anger, and loss all remain. So good to hear how you are revisiting the games and, I can't imagine how excited you must be to play the remake!! how good this is for your inner child!!! :>

@@deebo444I felt the same way for the Resident Evil remakes that came out a few years ago. I also remembered the days when the originals came out in the late 90’s and how me and my friends would stay up late at each others houses trying to beat the game and getting freaked out. If we had played the modern versions on PS4 as 13 year olds our minds would have been blown away. My inner 15 year old is so excited for SH2

@@BlueCollar850 That sounds so fun and those late-night gaming sessions with friends must've really hit differently. Great nostalgic feeling! The RE remakes are sooo good and the graphics difference is crazy. CANT WAIT FOR THE SH2 REMAKE!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAA
