watching you go through this... having recently gone through the musician aspiration, I want to say it's constructed poorly. you're required to get level 6 and write songs, but you can't write songs on anything til level 8, and, as you discovered, you can't publish them til even later. And then it takes FOREVER TO WRITE ONE. Being a writer spoiled me for being a musician. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT, EA?

I started the flargen challenge in my family I've played for 4 generations, the flargen are the 5th. This family is very rich and lives in a mansion from selling dragonfruit and being top level career (no cheats!). This is the best I've ever done in the sims and I'm proud. So i decided the flargen would be spoiled children, and grow up having anything and everything, but have to live with the knowledge that when they turn 18 only one of them can survive. So essentially they are like wagyu.

I did this challenge two days ago, and the best Flargen ended up become a fashion influencer after going to College... and just had triplets with Don Lothario. Should I do the Flargen Challenge again?

You should put them all in a club and include activities that build skill like playing the guitar or doing homework etc, but also include activities that don't build any skills like watching TV or taking a nap. So you can truly randomize each Sim's traits & skill levels by just starting the club gathering and see what they decide to do after school each day

Musicians can write songs only at Level 8! And the career gives the Sim all the musical instruments they will need. When you get to level 10 of the career, you will get the best piano in the game.

This challenge is dark and twisted. I love it

I recommend getting the mixing desk to get musically famous. It's fun and takes wayyyy less time.

I accidentally raised my volume to 100 as soon as she was said "BUT there's a twist"

you have to have level 8 in an instrument to write songs for that instrument...this applies to all the different ones, piano, guitar, violin and pipe organ PLUS you can only sell one song per week from each instrument, so if you max all 4 instruments you can sell (license) 4 songs per week, and then keep re-licensing them each week to make sure you keep making money from them, as the amount drops after a while if you don't re-license them

I feel like there should be a point system of some sort honestly. Like a point for every skill they have, a point for every "good" trait they have, subtract a point for every "bad" trait, points for if they have character values or not. Even concerning looks, if they all look different, most attractive gets 2 points, second place 1 point, and worst Flargen gets none. If they all look the same it doesn't matter, and if two are the same then they'd get equal points for looks. I just feel that way you don't have to keep flipping back and forth between sims trying to compare.

My boyfriend played the flargen challenge this weekend and we had so much fun. We put the flargens in bear suits and they were train wrecks. The family lived in the trailer in strangerville and all the appliances kept breaking. Still, one of the most fun sims challenges.

This is def one of my favourite sims 4 challenges!

I think the better challenge would be this exact challenge but you only control the mom. So like you can cook for them and if you have parenthood you can parent them, but otherwise they have to autonomously be the better Flargan.

I think Flargen should definitely win!

Yo write songs with guitar too because you can only license one song at a time with the same instrument. So you can have a guitar and piano song out but not two piano songs.

When she started the challenge I thought she was just going to put different things in the house like a violin, child’s craft table, the chemistry set, monkey bars and etc, and not control them at all and just let them autonomously live. But she’s been making them do their homework and projects. But if you keep making them do the same things then are they really superior? They’re more just the same. And same projects so same skills. I mean obviously they could have higher skills or grades but I guess I interpreted the challenge wrong.

Flargen is the best in my opinion. They underwent severe character design, but was kílled off quickly.

Ok but what if you make a challenge where you have Vlads kids, whenever he comes over. But you don't call him over, so just when he naturally appears. And then you have seven little vlads and raise them but the kids who are vampires must be killed. So you need to have Vlads kids over and over again, until you have 7 human sims.
