Hey I just noticed something that concerns me.. is that your second cup of coffee or third? Because two cups a day is okay for you if you don’t do it every single day but if you’re having 3+ cups every single day you are going to develop heart problems. If you are a 3+ a day drinker you might want to switch to decaf so your brain will still get the coffee but your body won’t have to handle the massive surges of caffeine. I’m not trying to be that guy I’m just saying I think throughout the game you made like 3 cups.. if it was only 2 then you will be fine. 🙌🏽
I appreciate your concern buddy. I'll keep that in mind. I'm usually a 2 Max guy, but I really only have coffee as a nice warm drink over caffeine anyway :) so maybe a switch!
@@Kangorth yeah that’s a good idea. Maybe see if you can find a replacement if that’s all you’re after. There are some really delicious tea’s that still have some caffeine in them but not nearly as much and also don’t require and sugar they are just naturally sweet from the tea bag. If I’m ever craving a warm drink that’s my go to.
Mage Knight is still my favourite board game after all these years. It is long and a headache to learn, but it offers such a satisfying arc of going from zero to hero and can be played in multiple ways, most of which work really well. I only play it with 2-3 players and sometimes solo, because of how heavy and complex it is.
Ah thankyou for the heads up. I'm excited to try the game walk through that it has in the box to help me learn it a bit faster. Cool. To hear it's still your favourite, hopefully I love it too!
Belated congrats on the wedding! And this run makes me really look forward to playing the Watcher myself, though it'll be a few weeks before my friends gather to play again. The energy availability for the Watcher is insane!
@@NekoHat3 thankyou so much! Stance dancing is very strong. Tantrum is a really good card to keep switching and do loads of damage! Don't worry sweet summer child, my videos will solve your aching for the board game while you wait for you co'op game. This is my burden, my curse.... 😂😂
Oh sick! Hopefully I really like it too! It had a cool first game walk through book which should ease me in since I know actually nothing 😂 What is void fall like 🤔
I wouldn’t call it sloppy it was good the only real thing I saw with the first act was that you could have auto upgraded your empty body bc of egg but I don’t think it mattered to much it just made act 1 harder on yourself.
@@Kangorth Till minute 15, you were making mistakes far from the optimal gameplan you usually take, you said that even, but then you picked the pace. I cannot pinpoint right now examples cause im a bit lazy right now. Perhaps the coffee did his magic and after that, the Act 1 was good. I ate your content of the Slay the Spire and you won a sub. Congratz on your wedding, and cheers from Spain.
@@Trozomuro ah I see what you mean now. I guess the Coffee did save me XD (also I was a little distracted having both the stream and camera running) I hope you continue to enjoy the videos, especially now that you can read the cards LOL. Thankyou for the kind words ❤️❤️
Hahahahaa omg you are right I wasn't even thinking, mantra is how you get to divinity right? I can see how I'm mixing it up but that's funny lol 🤣🤣🤣 Don't hate me too much ❤️
1:42:25 You exhaust the draw pile the moment you play Blasphemy, according to the play rules on page 12. You execute the card’s printed effects from top to bottom. The draw pile exhaust is a separate sentence, so I think you do it before playing Cut Through Fate.
You are every correct. My problem here was not actually reading the card, since it applies to the next card played anyway. However bringing up cards text resolves from top to bottom was an invaluable thing I learned after the fact thinking about different combos. Great comment and thankyou for fact checking!
What a beautiful looking game. Love the picture quality upgrade. Also, did you upgrade your microphone? How does it work to randomize the map on every playthrough?
That's great to hear! It is a new microphone but just the one attached to the camera. Maybe one day with a new set up I could use my good pc microphone. I usually speed it up but you can see in my videos what I do. You have all these tokens with a black backside and a white backside. These correspond with the empty spaces on the map board. What I do is just flip them all over and shuffle them up. Then basically add them to the board and flip them over (generally from the bottom left of the board to the top right) but honestly you could add them any way you like :)
@@Kangorth I understand. I am so pumped to get this game. Also, I have decided to order a bigger fold out card table for this game. So I will be set. I just did a late pledge on the last possible day on the 30th of April. But I do know they have already started or are just about to start sending units out. Either way, I hope it's not too long of a wait for me.
@@StereoJoe oooooh I'm excited for you buddy. I hope it works out great! Hopefully these videos can tide you over while you wait for your own personal copy 🥰🥰🥰
Blasphemy: If it were me, I would exhaust the deck after completing the three cards worth of actions. If you were meant to exhaust first, I feel like it would be listed first (even without “then” directive).
We actually worked this out in my discord. I was being greedy as heck lol. It definitely says the next card you play so the deck exhausts immediately. But! If it didn't, cards resolve top to bottom, and it resolves seperately and discretely. Meaning, let's say it did work as part of blasphemy, the exhaust part would happen last as its at the bottom of the card.
If you say you need to resolve top to bottom. Then you need to exhaust your draw pile first. After that card you play a new card what is the attack 3 times.
No problem. A lot of cards that works differently than normal in the video game, so a lot of re reading i think so. We are waiting over here in the Netherlands to get the game 😀
Super fun video. 😎Love the upgraded picture quality. For the sleeves I would recommend reaching out via email or the backer page to see if you can do a late add-on of the “sleeves for everything else.” They are super good quality and fit everything perfectly. Or at least get the sleeve dimensions. My experience with the game has been awesome. I’ve done a couple of solo runs, and am slowly (like over multiple days) playing through my first co-op run with my dad. One of the cool things I tried was after dying to the act 2 boss instead of resetting to act 1 I used the quick start guide to re-do act 2 with a new build. That might be a good way for you to get 2 runs in one video in case you get pretty far before dying. Which in Slay the Spire is always looming around the corner. 💀
Using the quick start rules if I die is a really good idea. I knew they were there but never considered that. Thankyou! Do you know if the sleeves have any markings, or are they just plain? I don't mind either way I'm just curious. That's so cute you are playing with your dad, hope you are both having a great time 😎☺️
@@Kangorth I believe those sleeves are completely plain. I could tell you for sure if my game had been delivered already. 😭 Well, I got the large table playmat from the all in pledge today so I hope the game will be with me soon too!
@@the_verTigO oooo oh that sounds cool. I might have to see if I can acquire more pieces. You've just gotta believe in the heart of the cards mate, your game will arrive any time now! ♥️❤️♥️
@@blaz3st0rm12 I mean it's just a weird card. It sits between an aoe attack and a solo hit attack. It seems fine, nothing against it and I'll take it in the future most likely. You know thinking about it more from a coop perspective, it could hit a creature in 1 or 2 lanes. There is an actual good use case for it. Got the solo brain tuned too high
