PLAYING THE WORLDS FIRST 30 NOTE HANDPAN

This is a Satya, and yes he is working on it but this is his latest creation.

They definitely are playable, compared to the earlier versions I’ve seen, this one seems to have much more body. I’ve only had it a few days and wanted to post something that was a little thought out. You may see it in later videos. But the highest notes do sound great, it requires a specific touch to get them to sound right but it’s pretty easy once you get used to it. I do run up the top of the instrument at 2:38 if you watched the whole video. I had a few Handpan friends over the other day that had some trouble with the smaller notes but got it after a little bit. Probably not for everyone but I’ve got some fantastic applications for it coming. So I definitely did not buy it just ‘to have the most notes’

Interesting perspective, I think it sounds quite good overall. There’s actually only 2% reverb on the total mix if you can believe it 🙂 definitely think Satya deserves some credit for what they were able to make 🙌🏼

@@TedMunyerTheHandpanProject this is a madness to do that, I agree, but I never love the timber of satya, I tried some and heared a lot, to much closed instrument and cold instrument for me. Those I tried had a lot of crosstalk, it was impossible to play that. I really prefer a beautiful 17 or 18 notes with life and soul. But I'm so happy if you enjoy it, can't wait to see new videos from you on it.

why a 30 note handpan CAN,T be beautyfull instrument with soul??maybe you mean it can,t for your personal feeling...or do you think we all feel the same??"soul"in music is very subjective...and...do you see the future??maybe in 10 years you get a 30 note handpan that you feel as beautyfull and full of soul...this is just the begining man !

@ of course not, we don't feel all the same. My taste will not yours. Yes it's the beginning, but putting all those notes need a special way to work on instruments for them to '' work '', and they follow a less open soul, and more cold way to sound, but if not the instrument would be impossible to play without crosstalk everywhere. But yes I have very special taste in handpan. But you're right this is just the beginning, and indeed this is my feelings, my words, my way to express what I feel. And I have the right to express myself in the point I feel it.
