Playing the WORST Tier 9 Tanks in World of Tanks! 

I would argue that this happens to everybody when you start playing too much of any game, so I'm glad QB is taking a break

And honestly, it's not a particularly fun game to watch anymore either. It used to be a lot more exciting back in the day but these days War Thunder is much more entertaining to watch others play if you ask me.

Realistically I have no idea how people marathon this game.... maybe platoons? Going solo i just burn out, keep trying to finish personal missions, they are all selfish and crappy (having to cap the base for example), I can't justify playing t9 spgs anymore because I simply can't help as much as I used to... Used to be something people actually had to consider in games, also made the scouts feel more useful, so many LTs just getting furious that they get in a good place to spot and nothing happens... Now my he bounces off of medium tanks, I am finding less and less reason to play non-Russian tanks, not having premium is miserable, even when I am playing premium t8 tanks, if I get in a bottom tier matchup, I don't make a profit if the games go long. Maybe I just made a mistake by playing with a premium account for so long when I first started out.

​@@Chpow01 I would argue that you are experiencing burnout and that it's ok to stop playing. I stopped playing for 7 years and I'm finding joy in the game again. I'm not saying stop for 7 years, but you know. Games are meant to be fun and give you good experiences, and I feel bad that you are not enjoying the game. Remember there are many other games and non-gaming activities you can try out meanwhile.

I was so close to unlocking t49. Sold the buldog after the he nerf. Its just not worth it anymore.

@@jariheimoluoto4959 I mean the sheridan is still a very fun tank so it is worth it but oh well. is what it is.

I left after the HE nerfs also, they took away our most effective way to dig out op hull down heavys and level the playing field a bit

It's not awful though, sure it's not as fun without the good HE. The HEAT can still work well and with intuition it's easy to switch now. I find myself using the HEAT more and more now. It's still my most played tank.

That's why this channel is so helpful.

yet he is still not good at the game compared to other players QB is just entertaining i learned tank knowledge from him. so weakspots, tank stats, how to counter them (unless you are trying to shoot at a Type 5 with 230mm pen or smh) so if you want to learn how to get better at the game by learning strong positions and everything else, QB’s channel isnt the best, lets just say that since he is sometimes way too aggressive and dies within 2 minutes

I enjoy playing the chinese t8 medium but the stock grind is reaaaaaally that freaking hard

No metric is perfect but WR is likely the most reliable and consistent, and at least partially normalizes the other variables. I also think that tanks with higher WR attract lesser skilled players hoping to benefit from OP characteristics, so if anything it's the higher WR tanks that should have even higher WR than they do.

You are definitely right about Stock Grinds. They are definitely a big part of my poor WR as a player. I'm mostly free to play, and tanks like the V39 are terrible until you are completely upgraded. So now I need to play nearly as many games in the fully champed out vehicle to recover WR, but usually I just want to be done with the bloody thing and move on the next Stock Grind.

Exactly. I think the yoh tank has a bad win ratio due to being pretty bad stock. Just like the Sheridan some people might play the worse gun just because they like better alpha. You are correct sir.

Take the WZ-111-1-4.. that tank is stock so fucking horrible but a real monster when its finally has the 130mm Gun.

It's painful to see how far the BL-10 has fallen. When the ISU-152 had that gun it was one of the most feared weapons in WoT. Having a tier 8 that could smash through the front of tier 10 heavies and remove half their health in a single shot was a pure dopamine rush.

@@snekthekek8668 No one think the Bl-10 at tier 8 is op anymore, People fear the SU-130PM way more then the ISU-152K by a mile, specially because 130pm has 320heat, which is basically a tier 10 Gun at tier 8.

@@Jules-kp7rw I feel like the whole identity of the T49 is the derp gun. If I'm gonna play the T49 with the 90mm gun, I might as well pick another light tank that has a better platform and is more nimble. Not to brag, but you CAN be useful to your team even with the 152mm gun. I'm at 1000 games in the T49, 59% winrate. I have more than 500m view range. I see the derp as a bonus honestly.

if you use the derp gun, play t49 like a td and camp

And I can't stand hearing all the whiny kids in my chat complain about me camping in a light xD But I really feel like in order to do well in a light tank nowadays, regardless of the gun, one needs to run the full vision configuration... Those pesky EBRs and Manticores changed the game.

I agree, when it was in tier 8 I love playing it in platoon with my friend, easily double tap a tier 9 heavy to death...

I still don't understand how there are people who think the HE nerf was a good thing.

Using the 120 on the M-VI-Y and it literally hit of miss with the pen and the reload, but when it decides to pen the alpha damage gives me a bit more to keep trying with it.

@@KawaiianArgument Tbh, many howitzer will need more accuracy and gun handling to make it manageable. Maybe 0.43 accuracy will be good start and at best could be 0.38. The shell velocity can stay. KV-2 will be still derpy af though.

@@KawaiianArgument The thing is that howitzers in WoT were specifically balanced to be inaccurate AF because you'd have the advantage of splashing tanks even if you don't carefully aim your gun for 5 seconds to try to hit the side of a barn. Now, I'm all for aiming every shot, and I do that more than ever with the HE rounds to get the maximum damage, and always look for penetrating shots in my T49. BUT now you have to aim for weak plates or even weak spots with the SAME old inaccurate howitzers, which is a huge nerf without any compensation. Yes, I think they did some MINOR buffs to the accuracy of SOME howitzers, but it's nowhere near enough. *Not complaining though* , just stating how things currently are. I'm still playing the T49 (1000 battles with 59% winrate), but the HE shells are way less reliable right now. I probably switch the ammunition types using that nice intuition chime *DING* 50 times a game lol. There are so many situations where you simply can't risk to shoot your HE even at perfectly flat and weak armor and prefer to go for the safe 700 dmg HEAT instead. I remember at least 3 individual times where I saw the message "screen not penetrated" while shooting at the flat side of an ELC EVEN 90, swearing to God that I hit the armor and not some spaced armor or tracks. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ EDIT: But screw the old Type 4 and 5 with the pre-nerfed howitzers. Those were just disgusting and as a heavy I'd simply avoid the flank they're on lol.

@@JohnSmith-oh9ux you should never touch with your fingers on the part that is will be pluged on the board, because humam body has eletricity, and touch directly can cause problems to the memory.

Skin oil can cause degradation to the contacts on the RAM; but I wouldn't expect to see any noticeable effect on the RAM in such a short period of time. Computers are designed to survive static electricity and have come a long ways in this regard in recent years. I wouldn't even worry about static electricity effecting RAM. Also, I really doubt he bought "overclocked RAM". You can get high frequency RAM, but unless you go above the factory rating you're not "overclocking". My guess, if it really is a RAM issue, he should check the RAM timing or check for a firmware update.

Words of wisdom right here. So many guns and entire tanks were made virtually useless because they couldn't just FIX a thing or two that was broken.

I personally always thought the ISU-152 when it had the BL-10 was just a better tank than the 704. The ISU was significantly faster, going at 43kph instead of 37kph, meaning you could get to the nice camping spots these tank destroyers want to be in. But most of all, having the BL-10 at tier 8 instead of tier 9 just felt so much more significant. But frankly the ISU-152 and Object 704 have been completely replaced by the WZ-111G FT.

extreme range and weakpoint sniping

Oh god... I just got the Tier 10 Chinese TD and that Tier 9 made me want to rip my hair out. No one fires normal ammo anymore so that thing is just paper. Sometimes worse than a 4005. I can't even begin to say how many times I hid behind rubble or some bushes and some twat in a 90 spots me than I'm suddenly back in the garage. Not even to mention the non centered gun. So glad I'm done with that line.

@@pickell12 if you didn't like the 9 you're going to hate the 10. Personally, I like the 9. I don't push with it, instead protecting the lower plate you can delivering massive damage with the HEAT or 100mm pen HE from range while shrugging off most AT rounds.

@@JonathanHStone I got the 10 just to get my goal of every 10 in the game, it's meh. I just lost credits constantly but spamming heat and being behind the heavies in the towns and what not, It worked till I had to move and I got massacred
