If people want to support SNK, then I would recommend to buy the Steam version of this game. It is cheap and still such a beautiful and great fighting game.

Fun fact: The voice actor for Joe higashi in this game is Nobuyuki Hiyama, who also voiced Link in The Legend of Zelda.

When Max is willing to endure a mediocre/bad online you know that he has really fallen in love with a game.

This game has an insanely beautiful combos system.

This has to be one of the most beautiful fightings I've ever seen. She also has to be one of the best fighting games ever, possibly best KOF game. Shame it didn't sell well. But, with KOF 14, Samurai Showdown, as well as KOF All-Star and the special guest appearances in other games, SNK is back and I couldn't be happier.

When this came out on 360 I didn't wait for netcode patches, I formed a local community around this game and was lucky enough to get a good mix of old school SNK players and people bored with SFIV from my work place together for bi-weekly fighting game nights where KOFXIII was the main event. This lasted about a year and a half, until I left the company and moved back to my home country. The group fell apart after that. Happy to see Max enjoying the game.

After seeing Max enjoy this game, I really hope he returns to this game once in a while like he does with Third Strike and KI just to play a few matches with fans and such though I'm afraid that character choices would be limited like mostly EX Iori and Mr. Karate. I wonder how Max would react if he saw Athena's butt juggle or Ash's Volleyball combos though.

I want 13's Pao Pao Cafe stage in every KOF! A gazillion different neon colors, yet it's so pleasing to the eye.

This is my favorite fighting game of the decade! Omg, I had so much fun playing the PS3 version with friends. I shed a tear for the poor netcode, but I think I'll jump back into the Steam version to run some sets! Thanks for the upload and nostalgia Max!

Max I wanted to tell you about this hella badass channel I found here on RU-vid. Its a Korean channel that shows off death combos in earlier KOF titles. It's some super nutty ass shit. The KOF2000 and KOF2002 have some really badass death combos.

Custom colour options really do get people to explode in all sorts of weird and kinda cool palettes, it'd be neat to see it more often.

So glad ur FINALLY playing this game. In my honest opinion, this is the absolute epitome of a great fighter. HD drive is my favorite mechanic in any fighter ever. Pls try to learn Kim sometime, his combos are so much fun.

Online on the Xbox 360 ran perfectly. I remember playing with people from Europe with no connection issues.

I have had KOF XIII for the PS3 since it came out but no time to play. This is one of the dopest looking games aside from what you can do if you can learn it. I love fighting games but find it difficult to learn combo timing. Waiting for KOF XV. To give SNK more of my money. Even though I just got the retro arcade after a year it came out and just pre-ordered the fight stick. What can I say, I don't wanna grow up...
