@@christophpantel6341 he uses a Yamaha EAD10 to record; nifty little gadget. It records live acoustics but can also be used as a trigger. So you can get multiple timbres out of a single tom if you want to put the post-production effort into it.

I just love the fact that metal drummers have a kick drum pillow. The band I was most recently in, the drummer also had a pillow, we had to change out the heads one time and my cat took the pillow as a bed for a few hours. Band practice was very productive that day.

As a former police detective (now disabled/retired) we learned to look for the small stuff- and and seeing the small stuff, you see there's a cut between him talking in the drums starting,, and then when you watch him smile, you can see how fast unnaturally fast his smile changes , proving that this is spread up- because there's no way his smile, lips, and face side to side movements could be that fast.. just watch it again...

If you have seen any of this guys videos you should know this is not sped up at all. This is probably one of his slowest playing videos too so your comment is especially ironic

Sorry, def not sped up. Straw moving in liquid. He’s drumming quick, so he’s moving quick. 1) Look at his other videos, especially the raw audio one “hit my balls while drumming”. Especially watch the cymbal moving after hit. 2) Watch cymbal wobble here the same speed. I’m a drummer, sped up would make wobble fast and obvious. 3) You can hear him shouting 4) Watch his other videos! Including the live ones. He also has patreon class that I joined for a while. He taught live there as well. You’re not a hater, just skeptical. Understandable. But now you know. 😊
