The lack of stuns and knockdowns and facial damage is a combination of Martial Mind playing on Undisputed difficulty of course its gonna be harder to get knockdowns and cuts on the hardest difficulty. Also Marciano's chin and toughness is insane. Play against easier opponents on average difficulty and there will much more knockdowns and bleeding
I saw a review from someone that had been playing since the first release. They said the full release has dumbed down the real boxing tactics to appeal to the casuals.

it’s hard to knock out rocky because it’s rocky💀 49-0 in a era with gloves that look like mitten. plus that’s why the movie rocky gets beat up so much but keep coming because his inspired by the real guy who was a machine in the ring
Rocky balboa is based on Chuck Wepner not rocky marciano. Marciano knocked mfs out he was not the nail usually, Chuck was a journeyman boxer who gave tough fights to lots of ATGs in the golden age because he was such a tough guy

@@ocerco93no he said that they don’t track with the slightest footwork but do track when you try to use head movement, he wants one toned down and the other tuned up
To be 100% honest. Used to be a hater of this game. Thought early access was terrible and thought the game was heading the wrong direction. But these recent early footage? The game looks so fire. Smooth movement and animations, feels like every fight would feel different. We should continue to support them and I have no doubt the game would be better.

One of the most exciting things about Undisputed’s console release is: updated modern boxer ai. There are some players on champion that know their stuff really well, but the AI is ABYSMAL. God bless the fact that champion still has online servers because single player AI is programmed like a toddler that’s only skilled enough to not button mash

I would definitely say they should focus on the footwork, sidesteps and backwards lunging. The backwards lunge kinda looks stiff. Atleast the devs are trying i respect that
The biggest thing I was preaching was animation tweening needed to be a thing, but they went ahead and tweened the animations and improved them, so the game looks like 100x better than it did before, now they need to start making each style more unique

Martial you gotta actually be aware that boxing is a lot different from the UFC it's 2 different sports. Stop comparing them , if you don't like boxing you shouldn't play, when 2 legends are in the ring they're won't always be a knockout. This is boxing sometimes it happens sometimes it doesn't And that's perfect that this game doesn't make it easy to knockout a legend like rocky marciano. You sound like you should stick to the UFC game. Different gloves
In a 12-15 round fight I’m thinking then against Rocky Marciano he should get a few kd or ko with the way the fight was going. I agree that there is still some fine tuning to be done in the game but it’s looking great from what I saw here. Best video yet showcasing how the game is supposed to be played and how far the game has come since early access.🔥🔥🔥
I love how he's complaining about hitting him and draining stamina without seemingly damaging him much. He's playing against rocky marciano on the max difficulty that's what he did in actual fights
Ali having this little vitality and stamina is crazy ☠️☠️☠️ man had like one of the best chins in boxing, if not best (not taking pound for pound, cause Ali fought heavyweights, and not just heavyweights, best left hooker, hardest hitters like Foreman and Shavers, bad men like Liston, huge punchers like Williams and etc) And dancing for 15 rounds
Martial you should have put the round setting on real time,you are on 1.5 speed which is not realistic. You should not be able to knockout Rocky as he could take massive punishment which was legendary and still always won,he was unbeaten remember.
Ali is so quick on the counter with his jab and straight punches in undisputed. When you use him in fight night champion his punches ghost over opponents or get cut mid animation by shorter fighters that walk into you. His jab had the worst tracking in the game too. Actually makes outside fighters dangerous like they should be.
This is way better than ufc already. THIS IS THIER FIRST GAME NOT THEIR 5th. CUT THEM A BREAK. NO it’s not perfect. YES they have things to improve. They will have updates and said things will improve. UFC is in trouble. We a year into that game and they still have GLARING issues that should’ve been fixed on release of their (again) 5th INSTALLMENT OF THE GAME. Argue with ya momma. This game is looking good.
Just finished playing some games, I absolutely love it! I just hope they update the sluggish phantom punches and the knockdown animations are the same everytime which gives me ps2 vibes
Also Rocky is incredibly tough but I think because they lack a true long term health system, they can recover. The "meta" I've found is counter shots, if you can backstep 3 of their punches in a row and return with a counter of one of your own you're almost sure to rock them at that point
They must've turned damage back down some. Last build I played was from about 3 months back, where they had actually went overboard with it. Looks like they're still looking for the sweet spot
They definitely need to make cuts more likely especially with glancing blows and jabs, and increase the damage but I really think besides those tweaks the game is very solid
Yeah this looks much much better. A tad disappointed that fighters don't wear robes coming into the ring still, but that's purely an immersion thing, hopefully an update fixes that. But as far as punches, it looks there. Marciano walking down Ali aswell in true fashion. This is cool. We have a game guys.
Man the speed on the new Ali is insane. Cannot wait for this game! Been enjoying it since it came out early access. Sure its definitely got some stuff thats worse than Fight Night but so hype to try out these new updates that have obviously polished it up a lot from where it was.
I respect how the fighters move like their real self. I think this game has potential. Problem is ppl compare it to fight night and they have nothing in common

I'm just noticing a Real flaw .. as far as the camera angle go ..the fighters never change positions in the ring !!! In fight night.. if 1 fighter stays stationery.u can circle him now your on the player 2 side. .... And that gives u a different angle to box from ... I hope they update that.. When a fighter keeps circling.this Game looks like the crowd is spinning 😢
Visually and animation wise the game has improved so much but the sound needs a lot of work, the breathing/contact of gloves sounds the same or too similar with every boxer

It feels a lot better to play, is strange though that you bang away on someone and there at half heath but it doesn't seem to affect them and their stamina is full and because you were doing the punching you're stamina is shot and you feel like you're losing the fight and then they flash ko you in the last round when you're on full health
I think the word youre looking for is natural combo, a juggle wouldnt apply to a game like this. The jab in undisputed looks great when ali is in neutral position, they still need to work on the animation for the other strikes whilst blocking and neutral though and other animations in general
Considering this game "fully" release tomorrow, I expect the price to be increased in my country. Is this game good? I'm mainly interested in the career mode and casual fights w/ my friends.
Imo it's pretty realistic given not that many power shots were thrown, counter opportunities weren't taken into consideration, i would say this matches a typical output. I will say that Ali looks incredible when he lands, the punches look much better and I think this will be one of the best boxing games in years. Just wait for Tyson 🤣
That was great observation of the head stunning animation it's off the power should stay the same because it depends on the fighter chin but PLEASE PLEASE ask them to create SWEET PEA WHITAKER/aARON the HAWK PRYOR with his real attributes and see if people can beat him he's a very unique powerful fighter with unbelievable stamina/COMBINATION/chin/heart/ a cumulative K.o power in both hands and more facial disfigurement and blood to take away your stamina cheers!!
I don’t think it’s meant to have a vulnerability system! Then the game would have even more problems especially with some of the slow stun animations they already have in game that makes you vulnerable already! It would just be way too much! We don’t want it to be like Ra ufc where every punch stops you in your tracks and you can’t retaliate properly.
I mean yeah its HAAARD to knockdown Rocky, HE'S ROCKY. Bro doesn't have a whole movie franchise about him for nothing.. dude was made of granite - plus he had more heart and will than 99% of boxers. He came from a era of boxing when the gloves where essentially snow mittens. and ofc there's no cuts really, cuts dont happen that often in boxing, it's more swelling and maybe bleeding from the mouth, nose and ears. Its not like the UFC where a glancing blow slices a person wide open..
