How tf are there no replies on this? Love ur vids. If you haven't done so already it would be cool if you did a video of you playing 80s music on the violin.
This video is fire because they already get amped up I'll clean the first song you lead in with is and then when you play a familiar song to them they get all excited.. great content
Mr Landes, thank you for making a 52-yr-old ex-Marine, computer-guy, grandpa dude smile so big until my face hurt today. You are an amazing talent. Thank you so much, sir.
I appreciate that you showed all the reactions kind of together rather than having us listen to the same song played over and over again. Good editing.
I am almost 40 years old and this film has given me so many emotions that I am shocked myself. Probably, if I found you on OMEGLE, I would get goosebumps, be speechless like an embarrassed child and in the end I would cry from the impression.
Yesss finally rock!!! And Kashmir!!! This is the first rock song that I learned on violin, the sheet music had a lot of double chords, it was hard to learn. And my songs know what you did in the dark, talk about this wow!!! And dont stop me now, waht an amazing selection of songs!!! And I write sins not tragedies!!!!! Wow I dont know what to say...
As a Folk Musician I'd like it if you could do, "Playing Violin On Omegle But It's FOLK Music" but, I'm aware folk music ain't popular with the Youngster's these days.
So glad you are turning on the youth that recognize the power of music, but are experiencing the mastery of the violin and your ability to travel the waves of different genres.
your clip moved me to tears.... no joke, not even sure why.. the way you play is how i always wanted to play a violin. i grew wanting to fiddle like charlie daniels and teachers were like you gotta start with the classics first and im like no thanx lost interest. but you break that door wide open an for any kid watching it shows dreams can be possible, if only more classically trained instructors were onboard with this music revolution... thanks for the 8min inspiration you rock rob
Kinda makes one wonder if Rob, and others doing similar performances, is actually inspiring youngsters to take up 'callsical' instruments, now they see they can be fun and used to produce music in so many different genres, not just the 'boring' stuff that get's taught in so many schools.
@@gabrielcastro6193 One may hope so, but sometimes it seems humanity is like the man standing in the middle of the road, in a tunnel, looking at two headlights coming towards him and hoping they're from two motorcycles. There's an old expression that people should remember, and use - "Hope for the best, but plan for the worst" - unfortunately few seem to follow up on the latter.
It’s like he broke into the restaurant I work at and wrote down the playlist we have to listen to every single day over and over….I cannot escape these songs
@@AwoudeX Yeah, there is! If you watch Harry Mack's channel you can see people's lack of vocabulary. It's far stretched if people can give him words surpassing 4 letters.
I love it when people realize music today isn't really so much different than it has been for centuries. Only the instruments and technology has changed.
Just the fact that he basically gave an individual performance too a bunch of people. The man is a legend. Thank you for entertaining the community of music lovers
Rob, you have really inspired me. I am an aspiring student guitarist and just became aware of the fact that the violin and guitar share the same fingering patterns. Normally with a guitar, we get most of our tone control out of the right hand, but I am seeing what you are doing with the left hand and it is turning on some lightbulbs.
Exhausted and was heading to bed but somehow came across Rob Landes and now I am loving this and not wanting to sleep at 2am! Thanks from Canada!! Oh man I loved so much especially Despacito
The first time I head-banged was to Antonio Vivaldi when I was eight and I fell in love with the violin. I can't believe he was canceled after only Four Seasons. Thanks for sharing with us, Rob!
You make me wanna jump on omegle just to hopefully run into you and give you so much props bro. You slay. I could listen to your stuff for hours. You truely bring joy to the world. Thank you.
It is so wonderful to see young people have an appreciation for ANYTHING! it kind of gives me faith that our society isn't lost. This is the first time in may years that I have seen young people with intelligence. Rob, you have tapped into avenue that brings culture to all ages. Thank you.
I am in awe at the amazing talent that he has...just astounding. I am also super jealous that he has the drive and determination to get to this level...a ton of hard work. I just don't have it in me and it amazes me when people do. Great job!!!
Love this. I played violin at school and went to the academy of music, but my parents were not exactly encouraging when i practiced in my room, saying i sounded like a cat being strangled...gee thanks. needless to say it did nothing for my confidence but i wished now i had carried on playing.
The first person I ever heard play rock on a violin was David LaFlame of It's a Beautiful Day. And I had the pleasure of meeting him in the early 1970s, I was running sound at a battle of the bands, and he was on of the judges.
All those songs were great, though what I thought was absolutely incredible was Mary Had A Little Lamb. The tone and expression was out of this world, by far the best rendition I've ever heard! Only a virtuoso can take such a simple beginner tune and turn it into pure gold. Earned a subscribe here!
Rob Some people don't realize that Rock has direct link to classical music especially Hard Rock and Heavy Metal. Anthropologist and Heavy Metal fan traced linkage from Classical music to today's music. There are bands called Symphonic Metal bands such as Finland's Nightwish. Founder of Nightwish, Tuomas studied classical music in school. He was never interested in Rock music. But one of his friends took Tuomas to a Rock concert. Then Tuomas is a fan. Now, Tuomas mixed Symphony with Rock into songs. If I am correct, Mozart was rebellious and would be 1st Rocker in his time.
What "surprised" me the most: Music "do" something " going better" in this world! Respecting, sharing, teaching.. and giving "a chance"for each other constantly.. (how bad you are..how "great" you can be, having "trust" behind you to grow, sooner or later. That 's what makes "music" great! ( I'm tiered of all "battles" being "the best"..or "not"... Protective and not sharing, educating "selfishness" worldwide..) Thanks! Not only for to "musician" being but "human" also!
Rob, I just discovered your videos tonight and love them!! I am a musician and teacher and I love the way you reach out to young people with your music. I will be keeping you in my sights!! all the best.
Am I the only one who would want him to stick with the classical piece if he was playing for me?? I love pop but who else could give me a private Bach experience!!!!
If I'll find him on Omegle: "Can you play God save the Queen?" "No, not this one. The second one. The good one. The Paganini one." Oh wait. If I'll find him on Omegle that'll mean I'm not practising. Nvm go practise.
