I keep coming back to the game. Restarted a week ago and I am too playing it right now none stop instead of getting SM2. This mmo is special in a lot of good ways!
A constant war that never stops... Yeah, the thing Blizzard forgot that their game WARcraft was all about. Honestly, fuck Blizzard for ruining the game.
After failing to download it in 2020 (first time I even heard of it because of Entenburg/Entenbruch) and again in 2022 I just got into it 3 days before SM 2 launched. Now that I finally found an alternative for WoW I had to pause for 2 days to play through Space Marine 2 but NOW.....oh.....NOW I WILL BECOME THE SQUIG PANZA HIMSELF!!!!!!
Great vid, was nice to learn about an mmo that also passed me by originally even though i was a fan of warhammer. +1 also for the desire to preserve games, kudos to those that keep these games alive!
An update would be cool. I've been a warhammer fan for 20 years. Read hundreds of books. This mmo was so fun. I love the private server community too. It's always a good time and everyone is game to fight.
It's a very fun server, I definitely suggest people try it. It can get kind of old because it basically always stays the same, changes are few and new content is basically never gonna come. But it's still got an open world PvP experience you can't get anywhere else. If you're the right type of player, it can easily occupy your game time for at least a few months and you'll have a lot of fun with it, or maybe you'll get sucked in enough to stay around for way longer.
I didn't play it on back in the day which I'm sure you already know. However, I think the game is fantastic. Maybe it is worth another go? There are some really nice players who'll probably make your experience worth it.
Played a brightwizard on orginal release shit was fun, but they had limited bgs at the time. Game died cause of lack of bg's the rvr stuff was hard to organise.
Nice game , but leveling is slow af. and pvp seems to be meta'd to death. it's normal for an online game this old with no new players to keep it fresh.
