What's up Guys,
and welcome to the 2nd episode of my new series where I begin my journey playing World of Warcraft for the very first time. In the first Episode we've created our character PuffPuffer the goblin and did some starter quests. Today we will be trying to obtain our own beast and to hopefully leave the starting zone!

World of Warcraft (WoW) is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) released in 2004 by Blizzard Entertainment. Set in the Warcraft fantasy universe, World of Warcraft takes place within the world of Azeroth, approximately four years after the events of the previous game in the series, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. The game was announced in 2001, and was released for the 10th anniversary of the Warcraft franchise on November 23, 2004. Since launch, World of Warcraft has had nine major expansion packs: The Burning Crusade (2007), Wrath of the Lich King (2008), Cataclysm (2010), Mists of Pandaria (2012), Warlords of Draenor (2014), Legion (2016), Battle for Azeroth (2018), Shadowlands (2020), and Dragonflight (2022).

I was waiting for this! This quests are so much fun, like I wouldn't recommend anyone to do this zone when blizzard did brand new noob friendly starter zone, but the starting zones of Goblins, Pandarens, Huargens... Etc they have so much Carisma and love and effort put in them, and they deserve to be experienced at least once... So nice I can remember them through this video!

That is so nice to hear! I'm also really in love with how all the zones feel and the details and humor they put in all the quests, it's been a blast discorvering WoW in this way. Thanks for taking your time to comment, It really motivates me to keep going :)

Yay i subbed i love the series, when you have gotten a way in your goblin you should try alliance to see both sides of faction ^^ love it keep it going

Ah thanks! Much love :) All the support has been really motivating! Somehow I was drawn to the horde but now im growing more and more curious about the Alliance... haha

If you open your spell book (book icon bottom right) you'll find a button called "pet utility" which is like a a mini menu you can put in your bars. It contains all lesser used pet abilities like beast lore or taming. You can put it in your bar and remove those individual keys from it to free up some space (to rearrange buttons hold shift and click/drag them). At level 10 you'll be able to choose a specialisation. There is Beastmaster (focus on pet attacks), Marksman (focus on ranged attacks) and Survival (a melee that uses swords or polearms). When equipping items make sure you stick with mail armor, leather and cloth should be avoided. Your primary stat is Agility. Looking forward to the next episode. Really awesome to see someone play the good old Goblin start zone.

Loved both vids, and took me back 18 years ago when I tried my first hunter lol. My main class i love is my feral druid, but my hunter is def my 2nd fav toon to play. I roll BM and you can def tame some of the cooler pets with that spec. Hope you continue playing, and enjoy your journey. :)

Amazing to hear your feedback and really glad you enjoyed the vids so far :) I was heaviliy doubting between druid and hunter haha, Im pretty sure I will be making another druid class in the future! Really enjoying all the abilities from hunter so far, you can do so much! I must say thanks to all your great comments and support I will defintely continue this series! Quick tip, If any items in your bags have a gold coin icon by them then they are generally trash items and should be sold to a vendor. Also you might find this option handy, press Escape, click on Options and then look in the list for Auto Loot. Its better than having to click on each item to pick them up when multiple items are available.

Ah thats a great way for a beginner like me to know what to sell and what to keep, thanks loads! Since my inventory was filling up so quick and didnt know what to sell, this is super helpful. Thanks for all the tips Ramraider, and ofcourse for whatching my video! :)

I love this series, please keep it going! I would recommend at SOME point you do the new starting zone, exile's reach. It may have less character but it does a better job introducing core concepts of the game and the class you choose. I'd love to see you try out warlock!

It's so motivating reading all the comments so defintely not stopping with the series any time soon! Thanks for the support Kasi! And I think my plan is to first finish this goblin adventure and get out of the starting zone, maybe to level 10-20 or something like that, but then I would be super keen to try out another class in a different zone so thanks for the good advice!

When you die you have respawn and then call pet. If pet has died you have a mend/revive pet key to revive it. You should put it on action bar in case you need it in battle.

Hey PuffPuff! I realise this video was made a while ago but just in case you’re still playing, little tip, you can check if the armour in your inventory is better than what’s equipped by holding shift while your mouse is hovered over the item that way when you’re at a vendor you know what’s useless now :) Also when your curser is hovered over anything then on the bottom right you can see if it’s a beast or not. You can tame anything that’s labelled as a beast unless it’s exotic which only hunters with the beast master talent tree can tame ( use beast lore on something if you’re not sure, dont need to attack them just left click them then click beast lore ) Also for quest items you dont need to open your inventory to use them! The icon for the item is next to the quest list on the right :)

You can store your pets at pet stable. You will get tame pet two through five as your level increases so you can keep one to five pets with you. All others can be stabled. You fight with one pet until you get a talent to use a second pet. You have to put secondary pet you want in first stable slot. Primary pet you call from ones you carry with you. It will tank for you if growl is on. Also you get mount at level 10. You can name your pets but not your mounts.

Ik heb de A&D keys omgedraaid met de Q&E, wat normaal dus naar links en rechts strafen is, gebruik ik nu om naar links en rechts te lopen, wat echt veel chiller is!
