Without a doubt, this is one of the creepiest stories you've read. This just gives a "2010-2015" creepypasta vibe. Back when these stories were genuinely chilling. You can call me riddled with nostalgia, but those stories back then had a different formatting. A simple but suspenseful title at max 5 words. An ominous thumbnail, the concept of the story and it's flow. This feels more personal than those rulelist stories or the stories with the RU-vid video titles. It rings like the classics, and maybe it is one. The author did excellently and you narrated it superbly as well. Please, more of these!

Very nice work! Super creepy for me specifically, because my dad's name is Robert, and *I* got trapped in a playplace as a little kid because I ended up in a weird part that I couldn't recognize, and my dad had to come rescue me. I was worried then that, what if he ended up in the area i said i was, but i still couldn't see him, and i was in some alternate dimension? Or what if what came through wasn't my dad at all? Very specific to your story!! I wonder how creepy this story would be for my dad to read or listen to! 🤔😂 Say, what do you think the crime scene would've looked like, after his apparent death? Would there have been blood? Were there reports of missing children? Are the employees in on it? ... I just realized that as a horror writer, you don't need to answer any of the questions. Just me Having questions is good enough! It means you did a fantastic job. 👏

This definitely gives me fae vibes- more specifically changelings. My guess is the Playland structure is what is known in faery lore as a "trod," a sort of mystical pathway that connects the human world to the faery world. They can be located almost anywhere, but tend to favor forests, lakes, rivers, meadows and old groves, but some can even be located in homes like crawlspaces, under stairways or even closets. The fae take the children to their world to stay young forever, and leave changelings- wizened and sickly fae- in their place.

Excellent writing! Has all the best elements for terrifying horror story. The way it makes you love and relate to the characters, to make you feel exactly the emotions they're, themselves going through. Mixed with all the horrible feelings of being lost/losing someone u love, trapped, taken. Not to mention, the situations aren't only scary but the make you cringe in disgust. And to top it all off, it brings you back to your own childhood memories. Absolutely loved it!

This is ever parents Nightmare. The way the country is now . Less safe then when there was less crime. Back in the 80s. When you could leave your door open at night and not worry. I grew up in a suburbs of a New England upper middle class, we had neighbors of e every race , religion and backgrounds. So I was around and knew people who were all backgrounds. We grew up.

Some people are just so dense. If the little kid is stuck, you think a grown man is going to be able to get her out? If she's stuck, she isn't going anywhere. Let someone else pull her out.

Not bad, this was for the most part a good one. Got alittle weak towards the end I'm afraid.
