PlayLand's new Thundervolt Roller Coaster 

this is my second coaster ever my first one is the wooden one and boy oh boy is this GREAT. Ive been scared of roller coasters all my life hearing the count down sound is SO SCARY but i told myself its fine because its short. Before you are even scared its over so its amazing for beginners. I love it i would go again, feels like im flying!

Hey I see me! I was the guy in the red fire flower shirt in the front row. I don’t care what people say about this ride, sure it’s not the tallest, fastest, or best roller coaster out there, but it’s still a fun ride and is a perfect fit for Playland for being an older launch roller coaster.

For PlayLand standards this is great. But for the standards of anywhere else, not so much.

I love playland ..love Vancouver... happy times I need to come back to ride this new coaster ...

Ngl this thing looks sick. Maybe I'm bias as a Vancouverite, but still- the theming and even the coaster, everything seems pretty damn cool.

I stood in line for this last Tursday for about and hour and the queue was only 3/4 full. If the line is long its not worth it for the 20 second ride.

Is this like early access? And is the park crowded?

Since PlayLand is only 9 acres so they should be cramming rids in the way pier parks do

My question is: HOW THE H E L L do you bring your damn cameras with you on rides

Isn't the layout just another Rita/desert race clone except it has a tophat at the beginning and lsm launch?

They could at least let you take 2 runs being so damn short.

What a waste of money & time, Its over in 27 seconds!!!! A 59 foot peak drop? Stop building rides like Skybender & this, build a real rollercoaster thrill ride.

I definitely wouldn’t stand in line for this .. the only fun part looks like the take off
